Do you think BTS benefit from the black community?

Boy is this a loaded question.

The answer is yes, they do benefit from the black community. Almost everyone benefits from the black community though. I can't think of anyone who doesn't benefit from the black community unless they are totally removed from the American market.

That said, the BLM movement is focused on the brutality of American police. BTS aren't Americans. It would be cool to see them speak about it as a personal thing, but under their Korean management they're never going to because it's unwise to touch foreign politics when you're entering their market. From a business standpoint it's an unwise decision.

I know people rush to the "If you're neutral in the face of oppression quote", but the fact is that the situation is more nuanced than that. BTS will not say anything and nobody should expect them to.

Edit: perhaps this post did not age so well. Color me surprised
