When stars make mistakes, it's time to hold them accountable for it, get them to apologize, and move on. Please stop doing things that cause people to call you a brainless fangirl b*tch.

However - Dating should not even be a problem to begin with. The accident was a fender bender. It's common. Move on. Lastly, going out during a period when it was allowed.  Unfortunately for him the area a week later became a outbreak center.

- The tattoo and girl issue was literally an infringement of HIS privacy.. selling cctv footage to media. 

-  Common Fender bender that they initial reported trying to allude to a DUI, then tried to make it seem like it was a catastrophic traffic violation

The "dating" scandal was probably the most ridiculous because if I remember it was proven that the girl was just his friend and she even had a partner or something.

The other 2, he fucked up yeah, but it still doesn't warrant such amount of hate. Comparing those issues with the stuff Big Bang and other idols have done is too much.

^^^ I wish they hadn't compared it to Big Bang. Those scandals are/were on entirely different levels.

I think it's funny that having a disproven dating rumor and tattoos is considered a "scandal." Like...so many celebrities have tattoos...and the dating rumor was fake, even if he was dating it should be fine lmao. I always get culture shock. Gang rape and assault and drugs versus...fake dating rumors, tattoos and a fender bender, and now not social distancing at a time before the break out when lots of places open to the public? I agree it was a mistake, not very careful during a pandemic, but....half of his "scandals" are nothing. Th driving incident and Itaewon, yes, they are issues. The rest? Lol, no.

I admit he has fucked up. But it does not compare to Burning Sun and other scandals so they shouldn't bring the other stuff up as an argument. I agree he has messed up a lot recently. Hopefully he is more careful from now on

Seriously. One thing is being disappointed with the car incident and now with going out to a restaurant/bar and another comparing those issues to stuff Big Bang has done like drugs and sexual assault. That's incredibly messed up and disgusting.

Whilst I do think the whole Itaewon thing was selfish and kind of stupid, it's moving beyond criticism at this point. People are just being straight up hateful. Like the others involved, Jungkook recieved criticism for his actions and adressed the situation. There's nothing more he can do so people need to just stop if they're not saying anything constructive. 

I'm so sick of people using situations like this to drag things up from the past and twist it around to make the idol look bad. Dating shouldn't even be considered a scandal and he handled the accident well so that's a non-issue too.

Like Daesung not letting Lee Hyori talk on TV, GD dating rumours, TOP smoking cigarettes... They were basically untouchable because they were the biggest thing.

 

They are not comparing it to the drug or burning sun scandal.

I think Knetz are more so talking about the scandals listed below too considering they're well-known and line up with BTS current status - being a 6-7 year old senior group. They also felt back to back.

• Seungri - "2012 one night stand scandal" (Japan tabloid post photo of him with naked women. Also accused of liking to strangle his partner while having sex and etc.)
• GD - "2011 marijuana scandal"
• Daesung - "2011 car accident" (hit a drunk motorcyclist (dead) and taxi driver) - he was literally labelled a murder by Koreans and went on hiatus before the court ruled differently.

BB were basically untouchable. All these scandals would of been career damaging for any other group back in those days. BTS hasn't had any major scandals yet. So we truly don't know if they're untouchable in Korea.

Additional note: BTS boy next door-clean image has always been one of the major factors that made them so popular with Koreans. The exact opposite of BB who are more known for being "cool" bad boys and rebellious.

they lost 1 member in their second year not all 3.
