Article: [Exclusive] "Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, Jaehyun, and Minkyu were there" Itaewon idols' '97ers meeting

Source: Dispatch via Nate

1. [+1,715, -45] For Dispatch to step up like this means that the rumors are somewhat true

2. [+1,462, -137] Jungkook ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+1,427, -50] You fans better not be putting up defenses like "my oppa" whatever

4. [+269, -4] Nevermind their private lives anymore, shouldn't they be tested and forced to self isolate? Cha Eunwoo has had a lot of promos too.

5. [+251, -16] Armies were going around so sure with their shields that it wasn't Jungkook, that he never went to Itaewon, so now let's see what they say this time

6. [+209, -33] Jungkook is involved in everything... is this the end for BTS too?...

7. [+175, -6] They haven't committed a big crime but it's wrong for fans to shield them like "so what if they did that?"

8. [+172, -16] Jungkook causing trouble everywhere he goes......

9. [+163, -9] Whoa, Dispatch is jjang ㅋㅋ '97ers meeting? Looks like people were barking up the wrong true.

10. [+157, -14] Wow, where'd the Armies who were foaming at the mouths denying all this go? You all claimed he wasn't there.. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ wow, I still remember the best reply threatening that they're going to report the comments, you guys should apologize for that, right??????

11. [+148, -13] Jungkook again? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Poor Armies have been patching up the holes he's been creating one after the other ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

12. [+135, -8] Armies were so sure he was at some strawberry farm ㅋㅋㅋ sometimes the one you trust betrays you the hardest. Even Big Hit was staying quiet, what would you fans think you know to act up like that? His fans were the ones who made a mess of it this time.

13. [+134, -14] Ah... Jungkook, really... We've been asking you to not be going out like that but you're really getting around... how many times already?????

14. [+129, -7] Every negative article about BTS has involved Jungkook...

15. [+125, -7] Song Minho got hated to death for going to a club opening event out in the suburbs but these guys are getting away with being at Itaewon? Even if they tested negative, it's still dormant for two weeks, so they should've been self isolating. Instead, they were out on TV promos like nothing happened. What Song Minho did was wrong but this group is way worse, no? I'm curious to see what shields fans will come up with this time... tsk

16. [+108, -12] Jungkook really seems to love the night life... I'm an Army of 5 years and he's my bias and managed to ignore the spam of tattoos he's been getting as well as the Gangnam car accident but this is my limit here ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ spending all night at Itaewon at a time like this is something I can't allow within my friend group, this is it for me ㅋㅋ

17. [+90, -11] Dammit, Jungkook. Why are you always doing this to the team, why are you always involved in these things? Please be more careful.

Article: BTS reps, Jungkook visiting Itaewon bar -> corona test rumors "We are checking" (official)

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+825, -53] Is he the only member of BTS? How is every piece of scandal about them all Jungkook?

2. [+671, -33] They know the truth, they're just afraid to deny it because Dispatch is out on their case ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+572, -32] Dispatch's post is pretty much undeniable, no.. Considering the times, he needs to really watch out for his image

4. [+81, -3] He's always the only one causing trouble in BTS

5. [+60, -3] He sure causes a lot of trouble

6. [+54, -3] What's important in Dispatch's article isn't whether they were at Itaewon or not but the fact that they were at Itaewon and did not follow the rules for two weeks of self isolation. Cha Eunwoo was at official promos, Jungkook was out doing V app... do they not understand the point of self isolation? Even if the tests come back negative, it can still become positive in the future. You can't just test negative and go straight back into promos. Both themselves and their agencies must be insane.

7. [+49, -4] I'm a male BTS fan but Jungkook is constantly in the news for this stuff, he needs to be more careful. He's never in the news for bad things if he stays with his hyungs.

8. [+46, -6] Isn't he the maknae in BTS? Looks like he'll be the first to enlist in the army then.

9. [+44, -3] I don't know much about BTS but I feel like I'm seeing a lot of news about Jungkook... We are at a time where we need to be careful, please think of the medical personnel who are fighting for us.

10. [+41, -0] Big Hit is "checking?" Are they serious? They really want us to believe that they didn't know? This is why they're getting hate. Just admit that he was there and that he tested negative and will be self isolating. No one would hate on that.

I mean he is the most popular idol there, so obviously. You don't get to pick and choose when his immense popularity counts. But it is unfair that people seem to be glossing over jaehyun and eunwoo carrying out schedules

So it turned out to be true..good on dispatch setting this straight..As someone who has family members who are high risk and still working due to being key worker roles and having lost people due to this virus. I find this super disappointing and won’t overlook it because one of my bias is involved. The decision to open clubs in the first place was a big red flag, but the people who turned up should also be held accountable for their carelessness. It’s really not the time to be partying and risking a second spread of this horrible virus. They should all apologise and reflect on what they did.

Cry harder and louder. Opinions of bunch of losers are worth nothing anyways.

Gotta love how eunwoo mingyu and jaehyun are also involved but knets only bash jungkook tf 💀 just proves that antis dont care about the actual situation and are only using it as an excuse to bring up past incidents and bash him. I'm not condoning their actions but still

I don't know why people are still defending them. I defended them at first too because there was no proof so it was unfair, but it's been confirmed now so they shouldn't be shielded. What they did wasn't illegal, but it was selfish and they deserves criticism for it. Whether or not there were cases in that particular area at the time, it doesn't matter. They knew that there's a global pandemic going on and they still chose to go out anyway.

Then shouldn't you bash every single Koreans going to gouvernement approved and legally open bars and restaurants ? The country is not under lockdown and I am sure these guys are taking every mesures they can (mask, hand washing, tests,..). If you want to point fingers at someone then it should be the Korean Government for allowing bar, clubs and restaurants to stay open.

Such hypocrites

They did the same thing. How is it worse.

Mino was at a guest house faaaar from Seoul. And it was a private event but these guys were at a public place.

It's amusing seeing all these hypocrites babying their idols but when Mino who didn't do anything wrong he got dragged.

Karma has its ways😂

jungkook was/is being dragged more then mino tho...

and 97 line fans are defending them just like mino fans did. so i don't see the problem, since knetz and fans are reacting the same lol

at the end of the day, knetz are going to make a bigger issue out of situation when it involves idols.

Idg people calling JK (or the other 3) stans hypocritical when at the end everyone defends their faves. Even in Gyuri's post many people were excusing her and saying they should blame the clubs and bars owners instead so...

If anything, I've seen more people saying they're disappointed on these 4 and admitting they were irresponsible than apologizing them.

Well Mino didn't even break any sort of rule by the government. What's not clicking? The videos/pics of him "clubbing" were literally uploaded by his friends 10 days before dispatch wrote the article and they shamelessly put their watermark on those pics.

Anyway good luck to jungkook, his fans set him up good

my comment is still there, try reporting again?

OT: Jungkook needs to retire from the entertainment industry.

By that logic 90% of the kpop idols should retire because very few of them are completely clean.

yeah and now everyone who has been in close contact with them (their co-members, managers, stylists, etc) are forced to self-quarantine themselves and get tested if they haven't done so already because of them. I get it, they're young, they probably think "oh I'm going to be fine anyway" (because there are a lot of young people who think being young makes them less likely to get the virus), but they should've thought more about the people around them. Jaehyun is my bias in NCT and I'm disappointed in him for this.
