I agree most Apink members are benefiting from the group but some members could probably manage alone as well. Naeun making a lot without the group doesn't look impossible for me. I indeed admire her and Seolhyun being loyal to their groups (specially Seolhyun since AOA doesn't do too well now) Eunji already had a hit solo and dramas and Bomi has her channel growing fast. Although they would of course prefer to keep their group as well, they are still releasing hits and touring and it doesn't take as much of their time as their peak years so why not.

 

 

To answer the topic Imma go with Gfriend first. I think they are similar in MANY ways to Apink. The image they became popular with, the growth in physical sales, how both are aimed mainly at Korea, even the success path, amount of hits for example. (now apink has one more with their new song tho) Basically the peak years of both groups: 

No no no = Glass bead

Mr Chu = Me gustas Tu

Luv = Rough (even the records both groups set for being most winning songs by female idol groups lol, alongside song of the month award)

Remember = Navillera (fandom growth and rise in physical sales) 

 

Not to mention how the members are same amount and indeed have strong bond and friendship. I always preferred Gfriend to follow Apink's steps since debut, instead of some groups who gain huge attention for some years and then disappear. Also Gfriend members are kinda less popular than Apink individually so why lose the benefit of their group. As for Oh My Girl, they just released their first hit. Have to see how the rest of their path will be like.

Oh also, I love how Apink is now extremely respected by fans and many people hope that their fave will follow their steps. You know back in the time, how humiliated and disrespected they were by ifans and specially here on OH? Everyone was pressed at them hitting big in 2013, everyone used their "boring" concept as a reason to hate on them, everyone called Naeun's visuals plain when she was a hot topic. The days which Apink made a comeback, OH was basically a nightmare with all the trolls lol.

I was a lurker back then.

I actually saw them coming this far seeing their bond, gives me goosebumps how literally all groups those users used them to pity Apink disappeared and these girls are still going strong...
