Having sharp chest pain all day

I can’t see any doctors right now because of the corona situation

I have been having a sharp chest pain in my left chest the whole day. In the morning it was in my right chest and then it switched to the left and lasted the whole day. I also have a cooling sensation at the moment. Like swallowing a mint kind of feeling

can this be as a result of severe emotional stress/anxiety and arthritis? I’m scared I might have heart problems.

recently my father passed away, he passed away from lung cancer but he had heart problems

my main doctor isn’t taking any appointments so I just feel worried

Anxiety can definitely bring on sensations like this. I have had them myself. There are many real problems possible as well. Arthritis, angina, heartburn and a myriad of mild to severe medical conditions. You should really consult someone in the medical field.

my dad has had to call an ambulance before bc he legitimately couldn't tell if he was having a heart attack or panic attack...the EMTs said the symptoms are practically identical so anxiety could definitely be a potential factor

does your hospital/clinic have a nurse hotline you can call?  sometimes hospitals provide those so that you can be evaluated by a professional over the phone, at least enough to where they can either advise you to come in (if it happened to be an emergency) or offer you home-care advice
