doki-doki 21,660
I honestly relate so much, I feel immensely guilty for this, my faves brought so much joy and eased the hard times. I still love them all with my soul but just cannot spend too much time watching or listening or even engaging with Kpop related things. Perhaps it's just am mood I'll get over? idk. I'm mostly following ggs very casually for the music at this point.
g-dragons girlfriend 5,749
Yeah, I'm a full time teacher these days, and I can't keep up. I got into K-Pop when I was 14, and had little responsibility. Now, it's a lot of dedication for something that seems unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Sad.

aeromancy 1,186
I've been out of kpop for years now. BAP were my bias group since debut but I started falling off ~6 months before they even disbanded it's just not interesting anymore and the manufactured-ness of it all has gotten old. Mind you I discovered kpop in 2010 so I know it always has been. But idk I just don't find that kind of an industry appealing anymore, like at all. Kpop feels monotonous because of it. I only check onehallyu every so often because I can't lie that kpop has some interesting ass scandals sometimes lol. Tbh FTISLAND is the only group I really still listen to but that's 30% their good music and 70% the fact that hongki's heavenly voice is incomparable
Belkiss 22,803
and I think oh deadness is not helping at all since i only engage here. with kpop related stuff and since the forum is dead , maybe that contributed to my boredom
Full Moon 7,229
Then explore other music genres and find a new one that you like and stan the artists from said genre once i stopped listening to kpop at all i discovered a whole LOT of new music both old and current and its been more enjoyable. Plus its much easier to stan, you dont have to be crazy dedicated about said artist, no need to buy albums or care about charts or watch the videos they upload cause most dont do that stuff, actually forget about being a stan, just enjoy the music and forget about all the other stuff kpop made you think it was necessary to like an artist
Zero Air 1,135
I've not followed kpop for a year and a half because I lost interest in my bias groups. Might get into it again as a casual fan cause I'm bored.
Polaris_Tae 1,617
This was me a year ago, then I found cpop and never looked back. I still listen to my Kpop bias groups, but don't go out of my way to look for content like I used to
sdtwfs 3,600
there needs to be more competition in kpop... like if blackpink and bts had overlapping comebacks i would be hyped to see fans crazy reactions but things have felt stagnant for a while now because every group is doing the same thing (& covid isn't really helping either) i liked twice during fancy era though the change in concept was cool to see.
