DreamCatcher is already making more money than ggs with a 1st win or hits

Of Course top 5 ggs of 3rd generation (Twice, Blackpink, RV, Mamamoo and Gfriend ) as well as Iz*One are on the list. I'm the most shocked to see Dreamcatcher though.... ? Don't wanna mention so many other ggs of previous generations who got at least a hit or 2, or won the 1st place and probably still haven't managed to pay off their debt. Meanwhile Dreamcatcher even without a win on the show ...

This proves a group doesn't necessarily needs hit songs and "GP recognition" to make money. As long you have a good fandom that buys your albums and go to your concerts is good enough.

Exactly.

At the end of the day, touring power is relevant.

Happy Face has done an extremely good job in capitalizing on the girls' international popularity, I wish Cube could learn to do the same with CLC.

Ikr, CLC had huge potential outside Korea. Nowadays many ggs do girl crush concept but they used to do it when the trend was cute image.

Dreamcatcher is too Japan style not sure how they even did it.

I'm really happy that DC is earning so much - it wasn't that long ago that I heard some members were still getting allowances from their parents. Even tho the venues are small our fandom is dedicated (seriously it's wild with My Music Taste for example).

Hopefully things get even better post Covid :rlytearpls:

those are international money....that what most kpop company and group after if they dont get recognition in korea.....if you get recognition in korea, you kinda will have a job after your group disband cuz local people know you.... the aim is to be famous local and international, if they dont get that , the aim is to be famous locally but if they dont get that as well better famous internationally ...where you can get money for tour concert all over the world....and if you dont get this either....you need to work hard to achieve any of this or your group....GG.......the best thing you can do is just performed at local concert to get some money...i saw group like berrygood or buster constantly have small local concert tour

Congrats, they are lowkey doing better than all Produce 101 S1 post groups with the exception of WJSN. Also TWICE and BP are lowkey bigger than Little Mix

In a way I don't even consider WJSN a post IOI group because they debuted a couple of months before IOI was formed and they already had some attention when they added Yeonjung.
