What does these symptoms resemble? Heart attack? Cancer? Panic attack

I always struggled with anxiety and depression but what I’m facing seems even more severe than usual. After finding out my dad had lung cancer, I was struggling to breathe more often. When I take in a deep breath, i can feel pain in my chest like squeezing or burning. It feels like I’m drowning and i keep thinking I’m having a heart attack or I’m dying. My dad passed away on Tuesday. After that the symptoms got worse. I have trouble swallowing, I can’t sleep in my room with the door closed at night time, I keep reliving the last few days I had with dad. I also looked up my symptoms on the internet and one of the causes could be esophagus cancer which has me freaking out more especially because obesity can play a role in that. Obesity is something I always struggled with along with depression, anxiety, and rheumatoid arthritis. How can I make myself calm down? Why is the physical pain so severe?

You shouldnt look at google at all, because it is a system that does not consider you fully. However, I am not a doctor... I can only make guesses... You shouldnt ask a think like this here, rather ask directly to psychologist.

I think you're experiencing a panic attack as a result of not allowing yourself the time to properly grieve over your father's death. You are constantly ruminating over the past, for which you simply have no control over. I strongly advise you to restrain yourself from reading resources on the internet that may otherwise further trigger your anxiety. If you really feel that you are struggling and cannot cope with the situation yourself any longer, use this opportunity to seek help from a mental health professional. They are in a much better position to assist you with any problems as well as to help you manage through this difficult time you are facing.

I thought I had purpura because of google but it turned out to be a bruise, be calm and never trust google. To me it sounds like your personal grieving process (which is different for every person) + stress + anxiety. Please take good care of yourself and if you feel worse try to see a doctor as soon as possible.

girl... if u search "swollen toe" they gon tell you cancer. I don't think people understand that any unusual growth is usually labelled as cancer lol..

u probably have GERD or your anxiety is getting worse because you keep thinking you have cancer.

Do not search this on Google you only will read that you may have something bad and it will make you paranoid. It's probably anxiety, as others have said you need to see a doctor.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing. Sending you a big hug.
