Article: Microdot and 'older brother' Sanchez apologize for parents' debt scandal "We will live in reflection"

Source: News 1 via Nate

1. [+758, -11] What's it matter apologizing now? You should've done it back then when you guys were making money and helped pay it off so that your image could stay clean and you could keep promoting. Why did everyone in your family decide to be trash together? tsk tsk

2. [+683, -11] If you really feel sorry, then calculate for inflation and pay it all back. Otherwise you're not really sorry.

3. [+601, -13] Please screw off back to New Zealand

4. [+26, -2] Who cares about any fake apology, screw off you trash tsk tsk

5. [+25, -3] They don't need an apology, they need you to act responsibly

6. [+22, -2] Pay them back you piece of trash

7. [+19, -2] I still remember when they were posting on SNS, as if taunting the victims on. I doubt the victims want some fake apology from them anyway. At the very least, we shouldn't allow these two to make money off of the public any longer. I hope to never see either of them on TV for the rest of ourlives.

8. [+16, -3] Remember when the scandal first broke up, they loaded up a truck with their stuff and left? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ sigh *shakes head*

9. [+14, -1] You're only sorry now that the court has ruled your parents guilty?? I'm sure you knew they were guilty all along. Do you think we're a joke?

10. [+11, -1] Please screw off from our country.. Please screw off from our country.. Please screw off from our country..

11. [+11, -1] After all that bragging you did about how rich your dad is on TV, in your song lyrics... you gotta pay it all back with interest, right?

12. [+11, -0] Their parents will serve a few short years in jail and come right back out to live lavishly with the money they stole from others

How was Microdot, who was a literal toddler when this happened, supposed to know about his parents' crimes? Sanchez was a kid too, but Microdot was a toddler. I hate how often I see people blame kids for the crimes of their parents or vice versa. If somebody does something wrong, that's on them, not their families.

this, I really hate how in Korea guilt by association is so prevalent.

Right? And where's the same compassion and understanding they had for Tiffany when she apologized for her father's debt? When she apologized for her father's debt, Knetz were understanding and denounced her father for giving her such a heavy burden and making her be the one to pay off his debts yet they're not giving these two any mercy despite the fact that they were only children when their parents went into debt.
