it really is shitty and I'm salty even tho there's elimination on 2nd and 3rd round only BUT IT'S fucking annoying I already cried enough and I'm not ready for R3 results

I keep thinking about how much more enjoyable the show would be if we didn't have to watch these boys struggle with anxiety and heartbreak. Like if it could just be a positive competition show where they showcased their own talents and built friendships with the other groups, and didn't have to worry about it being taken away. What a concept. I've never been one to watch elimination competition shows because of how much these shows exploit the contestants' emotions, but The Boyz is one of my ults so I wanted to support them. But ouch this show hurts meย

Did you all see that TOO announced their comeback withย their second mini album in July? I really hope that they will have gained fans through RTK and that they'll get a lot of love and support. What a talented, likable group of rookies. I definitely became their fan after seeing them on RTK. I don't think anyone deserves to be eliminated, but I don't think it should have been them. They've been improving so much and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they pulled off Hard Carry, even if Chan's get up made me full-body cringe. It seemed like the other groups were shocked that TOO was eliminated also, judging by how many of them thought TOO would place fourth.ย

About the other performances - TBZ blew me away once again. The brilliance of their concepts, the perfectly-executed synchronized dancing, they're always such a pleasure to watch. They were the only ones that blew me away though. I had a really hard time understanding what direction Pentagon wanted to go - they had an Egyptian theme with sarcophagi on the stage, but the backup dancers' outfits seemed more Middle Eastern-inspired and the dance moves looked a bit Bollywood. Verivery's was cute but a little childlike to me, not much more I can say. I enjoyed ONEUS's and ONF's stages, but they weren't like out-of-the-park incredible.ย

I know this has been said several times before, but I can't help but notice how much the other groups' choreographers take inspiration from The Boyz's stages. This round we had ONF's stage use the curtains like in TBZ's Danger performance, and another group (forget which one) used the fire trick like in Reveal. I wish they could come up with new ideas tbh, it starts to feel a bit cheap if they're using the same tricks as TBZ because they've consistently ranked high (aside from the group performance which...don't even get me started on that).ย
