Anyone else thinks April's LALALILALA is slowly pulling a bboom bboom?

In these 2 days they rose from #100 on daily MelOn chart to #80 (5 spots yesterday and 15 spots today)

 

New generation misses the Kara sound! First Oh My Girl getting their first hit ever after 5 years and hopefully April now! Let's prove ggs don't have an Expiration date!

Omg I have been watching them on the charts and it does seem like they could pull a hit with this song! I dont know to the level of bboom bboom but this could be a sleeper hit!

True maybe too soon to speak of bboom bboom now LOL. If they manage to get a sleeper hit it will be amazing already. Lovelyz managed to build a good fandom after getting only one sleeper hit and they are now having decent sized concerts. It could be enough to slowly pay their debts and become profitable ^^

Idk if to the level of Bboom Bboom because that was a huge viral hit but I can see it rising to the top 50 at least. I'm glad they're doing so well, it's one of my favorite songs this year by far.

I meant in the daily chart because the OP mentioned them rising from #100 to #80 daily. They've been charting top 50 for a while in real time, even debuted in the 40s but daily they've always been around 100.

The song is really, really good, but it isn't the sort of earworm that 'Bboom Bboom' is.
It's a masterpiece of current-gen Kpop music, well-arranged with great vocals. It's the type of song that can give them recognition, not something that can make them viral and that's fine.
I'd rather April become more popular because of a steady climb, and now that they can do mature, KARA-style concepts, it's just a matter of time now.

I mean, just look at these stages...
