It's not equal for everyone. You could fit the concept, fit the group or even be lucky enough that you're good enough to debut in the line-up. Johnny wasn't a full time trainee for most part of his training period anyways. No one guarantee you a debut, people enter knowing that. YG does, JYP does, Bighit, SouMu etc etc etc. There's absolute NO GUARANTEE you'll debut unless you're from a agency with few trainees specifically aiming to debut all of them.

SHINee is on a comfortable spot in SM. I doubt they will. The rhetoric that "sm is the worst" is overused and misconstructed for a while now, if you've been a SM trainee or SM artist it's more than likely you'll have a bright career ahead of yourself that MIGHT not be debuting in a group but rather behind the scenes.

Most likely a school teen crush concept debut since if you go to TXT Magic Island, there is a ghost like figure standing reflected in the water. People said it is one of the Plus member. 

 

 

 

The audition teasers were all different concepts so it's hard to say, I guess they will not have a fixed concept. There are rumors about the group having 9 girls but also rumors about only 7 girls.

Edit: I've been checking about bh somu  gg a lot since I'm very hyped for their debut. For now it seems like it's a mix of new treinees and girls who were already training in SoMu, the rumors say it's going to be 9 girls in the group. The 9 are already picked and are training to debut. No idea if Koeun is there or not but I don't doubt it,

Other than that BH is still recruiting girls in some places in Korea so I guess after this gg they will debut another one in a few years.

Koeun doesn't fit the age. But maybe..

Different rumors say different amounts. I've also heard 10-11 members. A lot girls are coming in and out of Bighit. So most likely kfans are counting, and that's probably how they're getting these 9-11 numbers. However Bighit is also recruiting for Belift GG too.

Maybe the ex SM trainee is keeping being let to keep there's open to not look obvious. They rarely post which could mean it's control or being watched by the company

plus idol school was suppose to have more then one season. there were to be more groups in the future.

If the rumour is true then it’s lami. Herin’s gone back to England (seems for good) and koeun+hina are older than that (plus I’m 95% sure hina is still in sm)

Me too. And i always eyeroll when some people say that Irene is too "old" to continue her career as an idol. As if your active life ends when you hit 30 

On top of that, i have a hard time getting into groups who don't have at least some members who are past their twenties and i don't understand why companies absolutely want to debut teens, especially these last years, unless it's because of a specific concept (like NCT Dream). It's one of the reasons i was anticipating to see Koeun's debut in SNGG and now that she left SM, it's very likely that the group will only have teens.

Herin herself said she's not going back and called out people who were criticizing her decision. She lives in the UK now with her family and friends.

lots of girls of IS Class 1 already took different paths, left the industry or signed with other agencies, only Sian and Eunyoung are rumored to be with Stone and even so we haven't heard of them in a while

Yea, I know many of the IS girls have now left. My point still stands - a few years ago back before this rumor in the OP was around, there were other rumors going around about Herin not related to it. This rumor about ex SM trainees from this Mickey Mouse show joining BH new GG is relatively new.  It's good to know Herin called out people tho. Therefor again she's most likely not the trainee in this rumor.

omg I remembered that mv reaction, he was super sad and annoyed. no one hyped him for his scenes and they cut his center scenes for Taeyong. after that Johnny praisee his hairstyle or something.
