[Rumor] Former SM trainees went to Bighit new girl group

Bighit Labels new girl group is being co-managed with Source Music (Gfriend) and Min Hee Jin (former creative director for SM)

The rumored trainee(s) is said to have been part of Korea's "The Mickey Mouse Club" show in 2015.  (Koeun, Hina, Herin, or Lami)

Also - apparently, the age range for the new girl group is, 2002 - 2005 liners

Thoughts?

oh, interesting. Are these ex-SM rookies around 2002 age group??

It’s not Koeun (1999) and neither Hina (2000) + Hina is still in SM.

Herin has came back in England and she left the industry so it’s not her.

There is only Lami left (2003).

it's a rumor and more likely a wishful rumor ever since that female ceo or something joined BH

we knew about the female ceo as early as summer of last year. this specific rumor wasn't around.

i also find interesting that sm finally removed some of the trainees name a few weeks after bighit announced officially in their corporate briefing that new girl group was formed and debuting soon. coincidence or not? idk. let's see~

edit: tho i think there's a high chance there will be a sm trainee

If the age range is 2002-2005 then Koeun and Hina can't be part of the group because if I'm not mistaken they're 99-00. Lami is 03 liner so she'd fit in the group but anyway, I remember those were only rumors and they were debunked or something.

I don't remember where I saw it but if there's any former SM trainee it'll probably be Lami in any case since it's the only one that fits the age range. I remember seeing an audition site where they asked for 2001-2007 girls and Koeun/Hina are older than that so they're ruled out, and no idea about the other girl so yeah, that only leaves out Lami (she opened a IG account though).

@hynapia @soyundorito

Herin has a whole life, looks different too with the blonde, so yea it might not be her(?)

However Lami rarely post. Still has the fresh look Korean companies like too. Koeun is similar to Lami don't have many post. Unless the rumor is wrong, she doesn't fit the age range tho.

Both still have time close them before debut. So i'm going to wait before I write them off.

It's Koeun, this rumor is quite old tho.

Edit: I've been checking about bh somu  gg a lot since I'm very hyped for their debut. For now it seems like it's a mix of new treinees and girls who were already training in SoMu, the rumors say it's going to be 9 girls in the group. The 9 are already picked and are training to debut. No idea if Koeun is there or not but I don't doubt it,

Other than that BH is still recruiting girls in some places in Korea so I guess after this gg they will debut another one in a few years.

i feel so bad for all those girls. SM really fucked them over. i hope theyre all happy where they are now.

SM always had those weekly performance system if someone is better than you , and they don't see you fitting in you can either keep practicing ( like irene ,seulgie, suho ) or leave ( like pentagon Jinho)...you never know how many trainees they have down that donjon

I would leave too... SM really be keeping trainees way pass their prime and then letting them go when they get too old lol..

yeah like NCT Johnny, how many years did he have to train again, like 10 years or something? and for what? 5 seconds for each song.

SM is the worst. I wish SHINee leaves in the future.

It's not equal for everyone. You could fit the concept, fit the group or even be lucky enough that you're good enough to debut in the line-up. Johnny wasn't a full time trainee for most part of his training period anyways. No one guarantee you a debut, people enter knowing that. A lot of ex-trainees get into other agencies and debut or give up the main industry to work behind it. That's not something only SM does. YG does, JYP does, Bighit, SouMu etc etc etc. There's absolute NO GUARANTEE you'll debut unless you're from a agency with few trainees specifically aiming to debut all of them.

SHINee is on a comfortable spot in SM. I doubt they will. The rhetoric that "sm is the worst" is overused and misconstructed for a while now, if you've been a SM trainee or SM artist it's more than likely you'll have a bright career ahead of yourself that MIGHT not be debuting in a group but rather behind the scenes.

But think about this, does bh allow their trainees/idols have public sns?

For real? 9 is too many. 🤔 In one of the Plus audition teaser only 5 girls step down the horse wagon so I really think it is 5 member group. Their style/concept will be teen crush/retro imo. If not I am a 🤡

Most likely a school teen crush concept debut since if you go to TXT Magic Island, there is a ghost like figure standing reflected in the water. People said it is one of the Plus member. :omgwhattears:
