EXACTLY. That's my main point. I know that people obviously have their faves and not everyone has the time/energy to support every single of the members but at least don't be fake and don't say you support all the members? Say you only care for your faves or for the produce brand.

i support all members but havent been following their non-x1 content not even from my faves so now what

yall with ur annoying ass dumb takes

^ this person is smart listen them op

as a seventeen fan u must be an extra kind of dumb if u think this way. why does not every seventeen unit get the same amount of views as the main group????? theyre not even split up but cannot get the same amount of attention????? shocking how their fanbase is only made up out of braggers and they do not follow every side project as much absolutely disgusting

We lack in views in general since Seventeen's debut, with or without units. And I cannot force people to follow their MVs to their t, especially not when subunit comebacks of Seventeen are not real comebacks, but MVs made as gifts to fans. Only officially debuted Seventeen unit is BooSeokSoon and it was full house at every live stage they did without mistake.

You might think youtube views equal attention, but for carats, its really not true, we are horrible, horrible, damn horrid in anything that includes streaming. If you are talking about other MVs, such as Check In or Change Up, those were gifts, therefore fanbase did not attempt streaming. If Seventeen makes a non digital comeback with an unit, you will see how much support carats can give to boys hopefully.

and if they do its just not gonna get the same amount of attention we dont even need it to happen to know thats true. and thats not because carats dont care about seventeen or are fake fans, its just natural people care about the full group more.

people making comments about how one its only cared about bragging rights are not smart, and not right. try put yourself in one its shoes if seventeen split up and every member went on to do solo projects would you follow each and every one as closely? would you not be upset at all seeing their solo activities? no you wouldnt dont even pretend so.

also how is it even possible for a group with ONLY ONE ALBUM to have a fanbase made up out of "people who want bragging rights"?????? it was.... their first.... album.... u get those people AFTER a group does well lmao its not like it was set in stone x1 would have these numbers these people bought their album and became a fan because they loved the group

Bragging was not due to X1 themselves, but due to Produce fans. Produce fans in Korea especially, chase success instead of fans. Imagine a popular boy group, it is bound to have stans who are there solely for popularity, but with Produce its different, in a normal fandom these type of fans are around %10-30 maybe, but with produce these types of fans are around %70-80, because now Produce is a brand, voting them is a brand, buying their things, following their things is a brand. It is not a case it can be compared with a normal boy group honest to god. At least in my view.

About Seventeen, I am kind of a very old time carat lol, so I believe my answers will be ones you would call, 'pretend' I guess. But yeah I would follow all of them closely, I dont like other trainees who didnt made to cut, minus Samuel, but even now I follow him closely. And by now, I believe I would follow all members just as closely, unless their leaving reason is something I dont like (not dating etc ofc , but for example I hate it when someone comes out and says "yeah joined group to get acting offers anyway(im looking at you Doyoon))

I am also an ex Cassie, I believe i handled their solos really well lol

i dont know how to reply to this because i disagree so much and think its just all wrong lmao but whatever if yall really think that way i hope yall have fun continuing to call one its fake fans. i personally mostly know oneits that have a hard time enjoying their post x1 activities because of all the shitty things that went on and the way everything was handled. also the dynamics of solo/duo/new group just being so different from the x1 content we used to get and its just not as good. but what do i know im just a one it not a carat lmao

Honest to god, I wasnt calling oneits fake fans, like I said %70-80 of produce group fans are hype stans, and rest are actual, proper nice stans, the issue is since they have bigfandom, %70 is a huge number and it means drop in sales too, some of these %70 can return with time as well, nothing is certain afterall. I was purely commenting on the behaviour I see in K Produce stans.

I hope their dynamics will get better with time, and you will get to see the interactions you miss soon, I am sorry if anything I said upsetted you...

dw u didnt. i just dont like the way people judge the actions of fans who had their favourite group broken up because of a few dipshits, acting as if they must do certain things otherwise they were "never actually fans"
