Holy shit. Read his original statement, and it was as neutral as possible regarding China. He addressed the WHO guy directly and called out his personal bias.

But for China, anything that's not ass-kissing, is considered dissent.

Anyway, he didn't lie, and right now it's not the time to kiss China's ass, because they've shown to be incompetent in handling a pandemic, while Taiwan has taken proper measures since day 1.

Oh gosh, I seriously could never live in a country as oppressive as China, it's like having an opinion is not allowed.

Taiwan should be commended with how they treated this since they were hit badly by SARS and MERS back then. And they learned from it. Which is actually a good thing. China’s butthurt and this isn’t helping them at all.
