Yes popularity is something to think about..however also for face just being the group that's most known by the public or fans is also important.  When people think of a company which group(faces) will come to most people minds. Sometimes companies push certain groups more too.

I think people tend to think of the groups that are the most popular/relevant at the time lol, so I think they go hand in hand?? and when I said popularity, I of course meant popularity with both fans and the general public because again there is a massive correlation there, groups with bigger fanbases become more well-known with the public too? So I don't really understand what you have said.

Would you say that the faces of Woolim & Jellyfish are other artists and not the ones I chose?

I think your answer is pretty accurate for both. I added Lovelyz because they've been on many variety shows, especially Kei. It's all about perspectives tho. Not all Kpop fans are watching variety shows. So for you it's still Infinite. Which works just fine.

Yeah it is really early and atm, Up10tion (Wooseok & Jinhyuk tbh) are more popular but I think the company doesn't have any interest in putting them back into the group and making the group as a whole rise. and recently I've been seeing MCND EVERYWHERE like all over Youtube and my Twitter feed, it seems like people really like them already.

I think they might be in for a shot of winning Rookie Boy Group honestly (depending on how Cravity's debut goes) and they might be the next ones to pull a Ateez like rise. I don't know why Ice Age is so popular tbh but it is

You're totally right tbh. I put Up10tion (Wooseok and Jinhyuk) because they're still more recognized but MCND is definitely on their way to pull an ATEEZ. They're probably the most popular Top Media group since Teen Top because neither 100% or Up10tion made such big splash at debut. The only thing they're lacking so far is high album sales, but if they continue like this, their sales will rise soon.

I think people really liked their style (that mix of rebel but fresh young teens) and both Top Gang and Ice Age are hard hitting and really nice to see performed. They're great performers and their dancing is sharp and energetic and people love that. It also helps they cover(ed) a lot of popular groups.

As for ROTY, I think so far Cravity has the edge because they're more popular in Korea so charting wise they're gonna win for sure, they also have like 20-30k pre-orders already. But if Treasure or any other bg from big companies don't debut this year, they'll probably get at least one ROTY for sure. Popularity wise and before Cravity's debut I'd rank the rookies this year like MCND > Cignature > TOO > DKB (not including solo/duo debuts like Ong Seongwoo, B.O.Y, etc).

But isn't this about the representative group of each company? Not about comparing groups from different companies with each other.

Lovelyz is obviously more popular with the public than Up10tion, but in Woollim I'd say Infinite is still the most representative group, even in the present. In Top Media, Teen Top is not relevant anymore so the most recognized faces right now are Wooseok and Jinhyuk because their participation in produce is still fresh.

OMG has also overtaken B1A4 as current WM face since they've been rising and trendy for the past 2 years while B1A4 has been inactive since 2017 and they lost almost all relevancy, unlike Infinite. As for the sales, Lovelyz might has better digitals overall but recently it's been the opposite.

I agree, the last two years have been rough for them, which is why i said on average overall careers. By time Infinite started slowing down Lovelyz was still really active with the public. So some people in the public do know them. And I didn't say they didn't know them, just that I don't think they are the "current Woollim face" and Infinite the "past Woollim face" since Infinite is still relevant and more or less active to this day. In any case I think it'd be Infinite and Lovelyz both as current and past face, (since Lovelyz already had their first hit in 2015). However with OMG they're the only current WM face since B1A4 basically don't exist as a group anymore while they're active and rising. It's like when you mention JYP, the first group that comes to mind is Twice instead of Wonder Girls or 2PM. Nah for JYPE I don't think the way you're saying. Twice has been the current face since Cheer up. 2pm hasn't been relevant with the Korean public since they were shipped to Japan for to long. And WG had a slight moment before they disbanded.

Like Twice, Lovelyz has made a name for themselves on vareity shows. They don't have constant big hits like Twice but they still have a public image.

Yea maybe putting both would be more accurate

and more popular than Sejeong?? I have to laugh.

Rowoon is the face of Gongcha, one of the biggest franchises in the country lolol
and Sejeong's Flower Way has more views than ALL of the Lovelyz MVs
