I thought the whole point of rice was to balance out the saltiness of the main dishes. I also put the same amount of cups for water as I do for the rice. So if it's two cups of rice, it's two cups of water. Wait till some of these 'Asians's' see my mum's traditional and very regional pilau (rice dish) that has raisins in it. Yea... We're Asian too.
