[pann-choa] IDOLS FIGHT BETWEEN THEM VS THEY DON'T

bye-bye

Recommended Posts

Do you think that idols (celebrities) fight between them or not?

Vote up) they do
Example 1: In an audition program, the top 1-20 will get to debut. When they are in the process of making the group, the top 1 knows that he/she is the one top and the most popular so he/she might look down on the other members. The top 10 will know that his/her popularity is the mid-point so he/she must look down on the kids below him/her.
The top 20 must have extreme inferiority complex

Example 2: When the idols have a group meeting, the popular member (the core member) must be the one in command and the less popular members will feel bad. And since the group revolves around the popular member, the ones below him/her will keep being looked down on

Example 3: In a variety show, member A and B from different groups are meeting. But since A is from a top tier group and B is from a lower tier group, A must be thinking "ah Bㅋㅋ that kid is way less popular than me"

Vote down) you don't think they fight, and they must all be close to each other

I think that rather than fight within a group, fights with other groups must be way more severe

Fights will happen wherever you go

They are human too so why wouldn't they fight?;; stop deifying humans

If  was in Produce and ranked 5~7, I would honestly become closer to the kids who ranked 1~3 instead than the kids who ranked below me

Of course they do. They all met because of business and their popularity gets compared every single day. Even the way people treat them is totally different if they are famous vs not famous. Stop being delusional and think that idol members and the company are like a "family" to them

Depending on the members' personality, it's possible that 1-2 don't occur (I think that teams that are promoting for a long-run definitely don't have those), but #3 definitely happens ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ There's even this story about how Kim Sejung was close with this kid when she was in IOI but ended up being ignored when she joined Gugudan because the group failed....

Seventeen said they rarely fight because they had a special move between them, they didnt tell what but if you are doing that during variety, they will try closing to topic or distract the person tlaking about the topic. So the member who is oding the move wont feel uncomfortable. They later implemented that to real life too, so they get along better with it. They did say they had alot of stupid fights, but such system really stopped most o.o

Maybe other groups are doing like this too?

I read like thousand svt posts a day its hard for me to find it rip T^T im sorry, i do remember it was from video however, and Hoshi was one of the members who explained it.

They do say they fight alot tho, usually for stupidest reasons lol

Edit: i also remember at one point they used the move way too much, and decided to restrict it since they couldnt even properly talk with each other at some point

i think it would be unnatural not to fight for small things within a group.. especially if they live in the same dorm. the important thing is to be mindful about the other's feelings even during a fight..

snsd for example mentioned how they fought almost daily but if someone would mention food everyone would forget about the fight

Fighting over popularity seems a weird way to frame it. I doubt a lot of idols care about popularity itself as much as all that it brings in benefits ie. Money, opportunities, brand leverage.

I doubt they're counting the number of screaming fans as much as they're counting the album sales and sold concert tix. Just judging by how horrible fame can be.

The mysterious Mark-Haechan fight of summer 2017 is proof that idols fight.

You can even see Mark looking directly at Haechan with murder in his eyes at the 0:03 mark. According to what I've heard, they even had to change the choreography during this time because of how bad their fight was.

Pretty much this.

While it's true that the popularity of one or two member(s) can help the group as a whole, i do believe that it may cause tension or jealousy with the less popular members. It's like a sportsteam. You're glad that one of your teammates is popular because it brings money to the club and spectators to the stadiums but still feel bitter about it. I read a lot of ex footballers interviews and the way they feel about their more famous than them ex teammates must be similar to the way some idols feel.

But it also depends on why you've chosen to be an idol. If you aim at a solo career after your time with the group, of course your relationships with the other members are going to be way different than if you just want to make money by being in a steady idol group.

Of course they do, they are humans after all, plus, imagine living with someone you don't like that much...

Also, I think it's easily noticeable when two or more members don't like each other that much.

glad the comments are pretty sane. I was expecting to read a whole lot of "oh, well, MY bias group never fights because all the members are close to eachother!!! :)" 🙄

I stan girl groups. I love the girls. I really do. But I'm also 100% confident that some of them can probably be raging bitches sometimes. I mean think about the dieting they have to do. that alone would make me super irritable with people I have to see all day every day lol

What?

Yuna recently apologized to Ryujin & ITZY about her behaviour behind the scenes + why she cried after radio show. She said she was the reason why the group was so awkward during radio show & that she was sorry especially towards Ryujin

I'm thankful about that too, some folks legit think that thier faves never fight. But forget that thier faves are human and can get mad at a member.
