Why are so many got7 fan sites on rest?

To put it simply, it's an act of protest against the company for their treatment or lack of regarding Got7.

Oh it’s definitely in general, folk were waiting for atleast an announcement  or video in place of it because they knew it was already cancelled and nothing could be done about it. That was just the tipping point for them.

 

though Bambam tried his best and did a vlive as compensation to ease everyone. I don’t follow Got7 as heavily as I used to, but the drought is even getting to me lol

Then i understand them, indeed I dont even stan got7 but i dont even see the rare tweets from them that drops to my tl from the fans now o.o jyp truly is bad with bgs rip, they can at least I dont know, release soundcloud songs, do collabs etc, so fans dont feel neglected.

Youngjae did a Vlive yesterday, Mark is releasing a song in China, Jackson is releasing a new song, JB will be on the  cover of MAPS in April, and they upload a series GOT7 offline but it's just real inconsistent.

but they are all solo activities, korean fans usually want group promo not single ones rip

tho if they were to cb now, fans wouldnt see them anyway, so maybe they just want something like variety???

I guess but I imagine they are all doing their own things too like Jinyoung is filming his drama still and that has to be tiring. I'll imagine it's little hard to get all 7 together with no schedules since no one lives together.

Jinyoung's also been filming his drama so I imagine that also makes it a bit harder to shoot new material in general as a group rn.

 

That said, a lot of this built up frustration and anger is understandable and warranted. But it doesn't help that some fans love to get people riled up over the slightest things either. It's just makes it even worse. Apparently, some have been taken it on the boys as well, which is dumb to say the least.

 

Personally, I'm just tired in both cases lol.

From my understanding no? I think most were hoping that we'd get something in place of it, but we didn't. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

Nothing was in place after it was canceled so I guess fans just want acknowledgment from JYPE/Division 2  like a pic or Vlive since it's also White Day.

They want a VLive I mean I guess some people are still doing that like ITZY are and ITZY vlives have been at the company as well. Also Twice did a special Vlive dancing and stuff in the practice room as well.

Also, I'm pretty sure GOT7 took more pics for the fanmeet or filmed something and JYPE could just release somehing done already  since they still put up the merchandise that they were going to sale on Withdrama website. They still want us to spend money but can't do basic things but honeslty this has been brewing for a while since GOT7 YCMN comeback because they barely had promotions.

I think it's more like the last straw on the camel's back and the fans just had it enough, the lack of promotion was one thing but there's also treating fans as ATMs as Candy said above (Yes, I know all companies milk fans' money but there's sort of a 'limit' that fans could endure). The company still tried to sell merchs for the fan meeting last week and had no problem posting stuff to lure ppl buying so fans were disappointed that they weren't even bothered to post something on the supposed date of the fan-meeting. Like, they keep asking fans to buy stuff this year (from a phonebook sort of thing, concert DVD even though their tour hasn't finished yet, and there goes the fan-meeting merch) but do the absolute bare minimum on every other thing.

They will just push the boys out there to do something and try to shield the whole thing like nothing happened, as they always do when something bad happens/fans are pissed. It's like how BamBam definitely saw all the mess on twitter and immediately decided to do a V-live to calm ppl down.

Ahh then they act more like older groups, i get it now, but to do that they need older stans too, which got7 is quite a young group so they dont have o.o stupid of jyp to try rip

Jyp is quite controlling indoubt taking it to boys will add anything tbh, otherwise telling Jinyoung to drop everything and run to fanmeet... I mean i get fanmeets are fun and valuable, but I prefer if he gets a bit more sleep, considering shootings for scenes can last for hours

Thats shitty thing to do, when pledis tried to pull that to svt, we cancelled everything we were supposed to buy, they were quite like kittens afterwards.

But i doubt it can work with jyp, considering they have multiple groups they can still earn from rip besides thanks to solo promos, im pretty sure you guys wont be able to cancel everything. Its such a shame tho, even a couple of members at vlive might be great rip im sad for you guys now, i hope jyp will listen, because even from outside people can see they ignore got7 quite alot

GOT7 do have a lot of older stans so much that even GOT7 teases them sometimes.

Majority older versus some older. Compare them with lets say, Elfs. That much amount would be fine because older fans are focused on their lives too, so you dint have to stay as whole. Younger fans, in this case im comparing them with bts svt mx fandoms, they do have alot of young fans, similar to groups i listed o.o
