That's assuming they'll debut before Blackpink contract will be up. YG first announced BP in 2012, and finally debuted in 2016. They announced this group in 2010, BP initial contract will be up in 2023. Knowing that most YG trainees are all underage and some even under 15 they won't even be able to work/promote and make money.

blackpink doesn't have a "flavah" that's just yg flavor, and if the group takes a cuter route, then i'm sure they will stand apart from them just fine.

Assuming the ngg will debut in 2021, and BP will disband in 2023...in YG terms, that's not a lot of time to coexist
