coronavirus and attacks on the asian community

what's the thought process behind this?

"hey im gonna racially profile this asian into having coronavirus"

"yes i'm going to further TOUCH this person who I think HAS A DISEASE"

???

I'm not saying the coronavirus is good

but I wouldn't mind the coronavirus wiping out some people

I don't think they are actually scared of getting the virus, it just gives them an excuse to be outwardly racists without backlash. I mean outside of the Asian community I don't think many people even know all this stuff have been going on recently. I'm kind of scared to go out right now as an Asian to be honest. There's just too many racist stories I've heard. People randomly beating Asians up, Pushing old Asian Grannies to the floor, throwing water on Asians, screaming at Asians, Asian Temples getting vandalized, I dunno man i'm just gunna stay home for a few months...not because I'm scared of the virus but because I don't want to be beat up..

Oh yeah, it is horrible to see people being racist to Asian community using covid-19 as excuse. In Canada, it is horrible as well.  I saw a person got beaten up in Twitter.

While some people are inherently racist, but a lot are just acting up from ignorance and fear.

Racism towards asians and vandalizing asian temples has happened before the coronavirus. Like it's not new. People are just more open about it now thanks to the virus.

People are just dumb. Natural selection is gonna come take them.

It's a combination of people being dumb and the media treating the coronavirus like it's the new black death just for the sake of getting clicks.
