Over 1,700 members of the Shincheon-ji church in Daegu have refused to undergo quarantine.

According to reports, at least 1,777 Shincheon-ji church goers who have been confirmed to have the Corona have refused to undergo quarantine at the hospital and living care centers. Over 1,000 members have also refused to take diagnostic tests.

As a result, the city of Daegu and other cities have returned the 12 billion won donations from Shincheon-ji and have warned the cult members to cooperate with quarantine and treatment instead.

Even though the self-quarantine period has been extended to five days, at least 1,760 Shincheon-ji members are purposely avoiding contact or have refused inspection outright.

  1. [+1,909, -13] Can all Shincheon-ji members get jailed for causing social chaos and denied treatment? Why do we have to beg them to cooperate with quarantine??!
  2. [+1,116, -8] Why do we have to deal with this stress because of these ba$tards. Someone drive into that church and level the building to the ground.
  3. [+393, -6] All the Shincheon-ji ba$tards that aren't following quarantine should be left to rot at a desert island somewhere.
  4. [+269, -3] Then bury those f***ing trash ba$tards alive
  5. [+136, -0]  Wow these shameless thugs thinks they deserve to do anything they want right now. They should be doing self-quarantine themselves in a concentration camp or jail. Because of them, good citizens of this country can't even get treatment at a hospital and are restricted to their homes. If they keep refusing quarantine then jail them for good. If they keep hiding then don't even treat them and file a criminal complaint.
  6. [+109, -8] Daegu mayor is so incompetent
  7. [+81, -0] The Shincheon-ji need to be forcibly quarantined with Lee Man-hee in prison. Stop talking about human rights with these ba$tards and put the entire Shincheon-ji cult behind bars. Now!!!
  8. [+66, -1] Throw them all in a concentration camp
  9. [+65, -0] What are these psycho ba$tards doing? They're refusing quarantine and don't want to take diagnostic test?  Does it make sense that we have to deal with this?!
  10. [+53, -0] What are the Daegu prosecutors doing? Investigate these Shincheon-ji ba$tards and throw them in jail. Otherwise, all Daegu citizens are going to die.

Oh my goodness. These fucking retards deserve to get a jail time for deliberately spreading the virus. If people don't cooperate, the virus can't be stopped from spreading and there will be more victims, since reinfection is possible.

Besides, is it true that they refuse to undergo quarantine because their sourroundings will know about their affiliation to the Shincheon-ji sect?

does anyone know the motive behind them refusing quarantine or inspection? i just dont understand why

Maybe they are afraid people will find out about their religion, since that sect is not looked upon really well in Korea?

Their religion believes that sickness is a test to their belief and only those who are not in full belief will die. So they spread sickness to others to make them believe too, then they refuse to diagnose because they believe they are religious enough to not have the sickness, and even if they do have thats shameful, and they should beat it themselves

Is it a Christian sect?

There's a passage in the bible about this dude getting smited (smote? lol) because he went to a doctor for his illness instead of praying to God about it first

I'd bet they took that sentiment and then went ham with it.

To play devil's advocate- the Coronavirus symptoms are not very severe for most people, it sounds like. So they probably refuse to recognize the seriousness of it as an epidemic because most of them probably feel okay, or at least not worse than they would with a common cold or yellow dust sickness.

But don't they recognize how dangerous it is for them to be spreading it around? Of course not. They are cultists. Cultists do not listen to reason.

Could they be counted as terrorists for refusing to be tested or be quarantined?

The lives they are risking because of their selfishness and b.s cult beliefs...

Honestly they should because they are threatening people with their refusal.

God orders us to seek treatment for our illness and to not spread it, but I'm not sure which "God" they're trying to follow. Sometimes believers have no brain I want to smash their heads to confirm it.

They are knowingly, and on purpose, endangering the lives of hundreds, potentially thousands of people. That sounds like a crime to me, the police force needs to arrest them or force quarantine.

These people are breaking the law and should be severely punished. Do you know how hard it is to deal with a viral outbreak? Yet they rather put other people at risk just to justify their beliefs. If your cult makes you that selfish you don't deserve to mingle with anyone outside of it.

I dont think its fair to call them Christian, they are just based on Christian base to look more "normal" but they doesnt hold even basics if it comes to what they believe in.

Thats whole meaning of cult to start with otherwise similar to Catholics and Protestans theirs would just be belief belief style. Because they apply wrongly they are called cult, but no, they are based on Christianity no matter what. They apply very wrongly, but they still do.
