Is it me or the SK government taking advantage of Covid 19 to create a bigger conflict with Japan right now?  What do you mean by response lmao just close any flight or travel means to Japan and other affected countries. Japan is takin precaution which is great for the country and it is people. SK should do the same. Ban and quarantine.

That's exactly what they're doing. Like it or not, Japan's precautions make sense. Of course, it also made sense when other, non-East Asian countries took safety precautions, but everyone just screamed "Racist!" Can't do that here, even if all the countries involved hate each other for various other reasons. And who knows, that might play a part in Japan's decision here, but S. Korea's response is inarguably belligerent.

I was going to say, this seems really childish to me. I know relations between the two countries aren't great by any means but the SK gov are taking a perfectly reasonable precaution as a personal attack. China and SK have the highest number of cases of Coronavirus by far whose citizens are probably the most likely to travel to and from Japan, compared to the rest of the countries on the list. Nah though. Clearly the Japanese gov are being "xenophobic" or whatever

Stupid SK, Japan is the second largest sender of tourists to South Korea and Japanese tourists spend so much money in Korea because Korea is much cheaper than Japan.
