Since Twice are going back to Cute concept, will they slay the charts?

Do you think the Korean public will welcome cutey twice back as if edgy twice never happened?  And what about their new international fans that hopped on because of Fancy Woo/Feel Speciarrr?  I just don't know, hopefully they have a ratchet moment like Likey and Like Ooh Aah.

Fancy is public friendly cute and it flopped. :imstupid:

Fancy was like the reverse Likey and Like Ooh Ahh.  Those songs were cute with sprinkles of edgy and Fancy was the opposite.

I wouldn't call Fancy/Feel special edgy tho. It was like classy/mature, but not edgy like Blackpink, Everglow or CLC concepts.

As for the charts, no idea because the public is unpredictable. I mean, nobody predicted RV having a smash hit at the end of the year after underperforming the rest of the year. I think they'll do well like always but not sure if they'll "slay".

First BTS, then Gfriend, and now Twice...everyone doing these throwback-like concepts is fun!

About your question OP - hmmm maybe it could work in their favor. The public could really like it.

Gfriend kinda did their usual melancholic/dreamy concept though lol. The only time they did a totally different concept was with Fingertip.

fever (their most recent comeback before crossroads) was considered a venture away from their typical sound as well

Oh true. Fever had a more upbeat sound and a more fresh/kinda edgy vibe.

Fingertip and Fever, like Fancy and Feel Special, was them experimenting.

The Chinese character in their album title can mean "return" "go back". Also the "Previous story" suggested they were doing a sort-of throwback. Even some of the concept photos.

blackpink is not edgy

blackpink is girl crush but more like girly/fashinable girl crush

D4 and KTL were pretty edgy tho tbh

some parts not all mostly lisa's rap parts lol but blackpink as group isn't considered edgy more like a fashion group/girly but cool so image wise they aren't edgy.

and they even had a cute concept aiiyl

Well in that case I'm excited. I liked the new direction they were taking but their cute concepts are the best!

No, she didn't. The last vlive she did was 2 weeks ago saying that if they change their hair is not because of a cb. That's the only thing she said about the cb.
