I personally would prefer the later ones. However, despite of them looking fabulous, I think the shadows would be a distraction to stare at them long enough.

The resizing would be fine if the photos we're getting are big enough in terms of resolution (definitely need more than 1920x1080) and have  enough headroom to make a proper crop. I'll help with the cropping if I'm able to be available

The fingertip one is indeed very adorable I don't mind seeing such smiles. I'd love to see it everyday

Meeting the requirement is one thing. To make sure all faces visible is another thing. 

Anyway, I personally like these 3 from yours. Not too old and I think doable for header making.

This is a very good example of what we should be looking for. I'm totally agree with side-by-side, or at least something like the crossroads photo used for example. Plus, we have enough headroom to make the crop. 

 

Btw, sorry to randomly jump in. I'm not around my pc so I can't contribute much but I hope my two cents would help y'all in finding materials! uwu

There are many images to choose from - the real issue is in the cropping. Using the template they supplied, I can't get a similar look to the Gfriend example posted. I've (badly) cropped these but can post the larger originals.

After/before voting, it might be wise to check our girls aren't cut out of frame or blocked by the overlay panels.

These aren't bad either. But some seems to be heavily edited (yeah quite a few photoshoots tend to slap heavy editing to match what they want) which aren't up to my personal preferences.

Agreed. The photos that we're choosing should looks great on both dynamic and dynamic night vision.

And yeah huge watermark can be annoying which not limited to those watermarks that's fair in size but positioned all over the place (like the show ones fksgjahkg)

I agree in saying that we already have plenty. I would be happy if any of the suggestions above were used 

I like how clean the background, and how the photos aren't too zoomed in. They gonna help us when it comes to cropping later

Anyway, I've check the mock given by gfx team it seems like the full length 1920px gonna have less area shown vertically. So photos that's too zoomed in won't look good imo-

But from the few versions that you've shared, I would definitely prefer O4 or O5 (O4 for me) due to their large background headroom.

Hmm I wouldn't mind wild card if we actually have extra quality choices that can be included. 

But I might want to suggest editing round (if we feel like the choice can be improved visually). I remember CraZy said that improvement can be made. Just need to make sure to send both original and the edited photo when submitted.

I'd like to give my opinions on each of the final choices. These may or not reflect your opinions but I'd like to point them out out of sense to be as theme header. They might be TL;DR but I'll voice them out anyway. 

 

1)

Personal, I love this the best. The photo is very candid and I love how this shows their best smiles. It shows how close they are. 

But the point of argument for this option is the fact that they aren't full faced visible. To me it's a bit of a bummer cause you want people to know them. But counter argument is that, those smiles are warm, enough positivity to get people to look at them. 

Technical wise, I think it'll fit nicely either regular or night dyvision. The color is brownish, probably look dull, but the smiles could compensate that

This option is great and most relevant as it's the latest photos out of all options. A sense of up-to-date. And they're all full faced visible. They mood is more of serious one but it's fine imo. 

Technical wise, I find this a bit too cramped (like a bit too zoomed in) as you don't have extra background headroom. Also, if this is chosen, I would like to suggest do an editing round. Maybe we can improve in terms of zoom (add background space so we can zoom out a little) and also coloring (I figure this may need to increase the saturation as it's a bit dull to be a header).

I'll gladly put up effort on this editing if y'all want to see it earlier.

Another option with pretty smiles. I kinda love the outfit colors from this one. Not much of complain in terms of bringing out the girls more since the bg is dull enough to highlight the girls. 

However, I'm unsure with the pose of each of them. Although in reality our Sojung is tall, but it's best if all of them height difference are not too obviously seen. Perhaps rotating the photo a little could help, perhaps. But secondly, the space between Sinb and Omuji is a bit too far that we can easily insert 7th face in there fjsgdjf- it's a bit non-uniform but it's not a big problem as in the end it's up to our own preferences.

Honestly, this photo is an amazing piece. I love how charismatic they looked. And I like how the background light glow helps to be point of attraction to the photo. I feel like it'll be good either regular or night dynvision. 

However, the height difference in this photo is very critical since they're making V shaped depth of field. I don't like how Sowon and Yuju's fore being cut off and how Sinb and Eunha chins are blocked by the banners. Minor editing (if we intend to make their skins less pale) can be done but the height difference can't be rescued imo.

This photo is beautiful and soft. I don't have much complain on this one as I couldn't point really point out any. Maybe color wise, it needs a lil bit more saturation to bump and look more attracting. Also, on night dyvision maybe it's not striking enough. Otherwise, it seems fitting just fine.

Another soft photoshoot. I like how everyone pose all close together and have those smiles. Positioning is pretty much fit perfectly. But bright/white and white/grey background could be a lil bit too dull. I'm not sure if it can look striking enough for both regular and night dyvision.

Unless we can repaint the background color (may need to ask gfx if we're allowed to do so) into some other soft striking color (soft yellow maybe?) then maybe it can be better. 

 

 

I hope they're make sense for everyone to understand what I wanted to point out at least

We have meaningful photos to choose so do your best picking one. I'm flopping at this though fjsgdnd but may the best still lovable by many!

Pardon my opinions but,

#2 - I love how this proportionally balance be it their position nor the background.
But sadly Eunha's eye patched is a no-no for me (you will want to see them at their flawlessness visual time).

#3 - I like the bright red color become major attraction to the photo.
Though, I'll like it better if their positioning as close as the rest of the photos.

#4 - I LOVE THE SMILES!! The strongest wild card contenders!

 

But in conclusion, I'm still hesitating between the current and the wild card one

Honestly, I don't mind get them altogether in this wild card round and maybe extend a little bit of the deadline. Though, on personal opinion, I think Sunny Summer one shouldn't be included due to being a bit older and also a couple of technical preferences;

one is due to the perspective view of the photo which fall deep in the middle (putting Yerin and Eunha being too close to the banners); and two, is that the backlight behind them two is too bright to the point that all the navigation at the top is not visible.

As for Sunshine, technical wise I feel it's way better than Sunny Summer. Also, I think those pastel colors setting help to make the photoshoot stay relevant across the whole year.

So yeah, my personal opinion is to include Sunshine to wild card round and extend the deadline a little bit

Here's the 3 scale. Maybe better if you compare the image one by one instead of one off like how they showed now.

In terms of least edited look, I would say #2 looks the best, followed by #6.

For #1, I tried to re-position, replicate the background on the rightmost and bumped a bit of color. I think my color bump doesn't look so good.

I tried to reduce some color in #3, but it still somewhat off. Also, that "records" is what bothering me the most ;~;

#4 can be placed in 3 different scale so I give all options (50%/55%/60% from original file resolution).

 

The safest pick will be #1 as it's their latest one. But I think #4 and #6 are the best picks-
