Why Does The Big 3 Hate Their Women?

YG hates giving Blackpink music

SM hates using Red Velvet's potential in the international market and we ended up with the most embarrassing event called Super M. Now they're making Red Velvet star in Trolls? be the background music to a Danimals advertisement?

JYP hates giving Twice an innovative concept. They solidified their popularity early on, have a lot of hits, went through a concept change, but nothing screams revolutionary to solidify an icon status; a waste of their potential...

jype is doing good with twice tho. it's not their fault the korean public didn't click with fancy and feel special

red velvet, well yea some of the concepts and decisions sm makes are questionable

yg management is lacking. hopefully 2020 will be better for blackpink

Fancy did pretty well actually. FS was expected to chart like that. It wasn't for the general public but for fans

cuz yg is all bout milking fans w barely producing smth

twice at least gets comebacks, but same old over-used boring concept cause 💰💰💰

i believe sm is not very confident in red velvet's global potential, but some of their concepts, stylings, title tracks tho... totally questonable

bg seems to have more dedicated supportive fans cause female fans crayyy

I feel like you're picking out the wrong things here lol

Red Velvet's fanbase is mostly domestic, so why would SM try to shove them into an international market? Hasn't Kpop learned that lesson multiple times? Besides, they have multiple original Japanese releases and even English releases, so idk what more you want

There's nothing wrong with them getting a gig with a kid's movie, either. It's still money in the members' pockets, lol. They market their cute side all the time so I don't know why this would surprise anyone.

Twice's position is difficult because they sat on top of a super saturated market for such a long time and the expectations are high. If they change their image too much, they'll lose the appeal that drew their fanbase to them. If they stick with the same concept for too long, people will lose interest and find them stale. And Kpop has such a high turnover rate. JYP has to push ITZY while still trying to maintain and capitalize on Twice' popularity. And obviously, the JYP is going to focus on ITZY because they're the up-and-comers vs Twice. That's just how the industry is.

I don't feel like either of those groups are being mismanaged that badly.

No comment on Blackpink. I love Blackpink and it depresses me to talk about YG...

I mean, WG and Miss A didn't have problems with this ....maybe it's just the group

and Feel Special was the typical pop song Twice always releases. If that wasn't for the public then I guess nothing they ever released was. .

Is this suppose to be a troll thread?

RV has 3 cb in 2019 (other SM acts has one, CMIIW pls) and concerts. Their demographic mostly are domestic. Their styling lot times were questionable I agree, but I like their concepts so far (I mean, psycho concept alone outsold) and its doing really well. Now you want them to touch international market but bashing them for contributing in Troll movie? Its fit their concept, and Yeri did song for Troll movie before as well. So.... pick one narrative.

Twice- I thought JYP doing a great job with them. They are doing well AFAIK, nothing to worry regarding their popularity. Also now they have deal with RR.

And YG is a trash, WBK

Is this a joke? I agree with the YG part but SM literally gives THREE comebacks in a year to RV while EXO, NCT, etc only get 1-2. As for JYP, I don't see how Twice is mismanaged either when they also have 2-3 comebacks (even 4 in 2017) and they get a lot of other activities like tours, events, etc. And I don't get the "they didn't get anything revolutionary" when what's called revolutionary in kpop anymore? Majority of concepts are already done. At least they DID change the concept after so many people complained about them always doing the "cutesy" concept.

JYP at least worked on new concepts with Twice.

The other two still see the women as vessels/robots that have to behave a certain way within a square that is very narrow. Those women have real personalities and talents, but that is often glossed over. Or they are just seen as an side dish to the boy groups, even if they are more popular (this is specifically about YG)

Smaller companies are understanding better that especially female fans want to see more than that, and are jumping into it.
