Bought 50 dollar wand, etc. But takimg away nostalgia is hard to care for the series knowing how flawed it is. The fans who worship it like no one but emma could play herm should give the books another whirl after reading better written ones. They r not that good.. Then again maybe its just that it isn't my style. Im much more into the world which JK barely builds when the characters and relstionships are so unlikable for the most part for me. Not because I think that the character should be white — that’s just how my interpretation was built. I’m old enough to remember when that first movie came out, In the novels, her skin color isn’t elaborated on, so it’s a moot point. The problem is she has said the three actors who played the main characters were as she envisioned them when she wrote the books. Or words to that effect. You'd think she would have noticed that one of them was from an entirely different race and would have protested if she had truly intended for Hermione to be black. Rowling is completely full of shit anyway and I don't buy her woke act for one second. Just look at her open hatred of trans women. Others calling it her attempt at scoring woke points is the best way to describe the whole situation.
