When it comes to members composition, chemistry and faces, or what they want to show on the outside, they all try to imitate Twice
When it comes to concepts and songs, they all try to imitate Black Pink
When it comes to teasers or illustrations, they all copy Red Velvet

These 3 groups are all the one top
So they must be thinking "if we put these 3 together, we will for sure hit big right???"
For real, all the rookie girl groups are like that nowadays

So if you look at that, rookies like ITZY, G-idles and Izone, they are kinda impressive

So kinda like Everglow?

2. [+195, -36]
Except for groups that are popular like Twice, RV, BP, Izone, G-idle, etc, I knew that everyone is trying to copy RVㅇㅇ but seriously, companies who are small or mid-size just copy everything so blatantly. I just find them patheticㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+189, -29]
ㅋㅋㅋ Are you shooting arrows at Momoland?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Momoland doesn't copy BP but they plagiarized RV for their MVs and copied Twice's member composition with their 9-members group. And suddenly, one member cut her hair super short like Jeongyeon during Cheer Up

4. [+158, -2]
But it's a fact that there a more and more girl groups go for the girl crush concept but in a lousy way

5. [+124, -10]
But seriously, after BP came out, all the female idols had long boots and kind-sized waist belts as stage outfits, it became a staple. It was like F(x) with the tennis skirt

6. [+103, -4]
BP's outfits

7. [+100, -29]
But even ITZY are copying BP

nothing any of the groups have done are never before seen

bp twice and rv are following the 2nd gen girls blueprint just like the 4th gen is following the 3rd gen blueprint

its the circle of life

yeah girl crush, quirky and cute  concept were done before we can't deny that but I think the 3rd generation girl groups redefined those older concepts and made it their own.

I can't speak for twice or RV  but in blackpink's case they made girl crush more fashionable and trendy in comparison with 2ne1 that had a more bad ass and edgy style (they were referred as scary unnies at some point).

The Momoland thing is a reach tho. Their concept is really different from Twice/BP/RV and just for having 9 members they aren't copying Twice. There was other 9 member girl groups before Twice.

However I agree that most girl groups have been using BP kind of styling of long boots, chic dresses, big belts, etc. But it's the trend.

All these GG's copying 2ne1

And BG's all having the same concept.

I don't really think any GG is copying 2ne1 aesthetically.

I mean, there's BP and music, but it basically ends there. BP's fashion and branding couldn't be further from 2ne1 in terms of how they're marketed.
