Does SM have the best discography?

So ma dear unnie @bronx. told me that SM had the best discography & I could ask whoever I wanted. So I decided to ask ma fellow OHer chingus: Do you agree with  uri Yelena unnir?

 

Also, saengil chukhae Yelena unnir. Ur dongsaeng Kami-chan will keep loving u despite ur flaws & shitty taste !!!

Personally, I think they have some of the best discographies in kpop. I won’t say that they’re THE BEST, because they also have made some stuff that I haven’t enjoyed as much, but overall, I think they’re definitely up there in terms of music

Edit: However, SM does have the best ballads, in my opinion

Yes, unless you prefer hip hop. 

For pop/kpop, they have the best and deepest discography. 

They've had some of the most successful groups of all time in large part due to this.

HOT, SES, Shinwha, Boa, DBSK, Suju, SNSD, Shinee, Fx, Exo, RV

Their title tracks can be hit and miss because they like to experiment, but their albums always have great b-sides as well.

I fixed it for the sake of uri dear OH. If ''yes'' won on the poll, OH's image of being a hub for kpoppies with taste would be destroyed big time. What a diseaster...Just thank me instead

It's fine for ma Suzy to be dumb as she is a celebrity and not a NASA worker. And u wish ur faves flopped like Suzy. Pretend & IILWSE achieved multiple all-kills and they were just unpromoted pre-releases....

They have a lot of great producers that contribute a very polished and vibrant instrumental to every track.  I think one problem that kpop suffers from is grating vocal processing. Most producers dont know what the hell they are doing with the pitch correction and voice filters. This is something I think SM does the best to avoid. I  love the albums of several SM artists a lot so yes they have a great discography.

I would say Yes because they seem to have more variety in their genres and sounds over the last couple of decades. They have also been pumping out quality music since the 1990’s. That’s over 20 years of keeping their groups fresh in the public eye while trying new sounds and setting the trends. They had  3 National boy groups during 3 different generations (H.O.T, TVXQ & EXO) and 2 National girl groups during 2 different generations (S.E.S & SNSD) That’s quite impressive if you ask me. 
 

H.O.T, S.E.S, Shinhwa, Fly To The Sky, BOA, TVXQ, The Grace, Super Junior, SNSD, Shinee, F(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT. Like come on, just look at this stacked list. SM new GG will soon join too. Hate SM or love them, you can’t deny the power and impact they’ve had on the Korean Music industry over the years.
