Going to see it tomorrow but I'm holding reservations because it apparently goes for 165 minutes.

What the fuck.

How much filler is in this to warrant the movie's duration being over 2 hours?

Also I heard Optimus Prime fucks some bitches up so I'm excited for that at least.

But ugh I'm so tired of this franchise.

I just want a movie that is seen through the perspective of Prime and the other bots, not the humans.  :donthinkso:

So you dont believe in rehabilitation or forgiveness?

Not when they actually say they are sorry or try to help the people they've hurt. And he has never seemed contrite about what he did.

He's forgiven himself, but not said even sorry to the victims.

And I'm sorry I don't forgive someone for GOUGING OUT A MAN'S EYE leaving him permanently blind.

What da fuuuckkk??

Go ahead. Look it up.

I agree that he should apologise to the victim directly, but I also think its not as clear cut as you suggest.

The youngest of nine children, he grew up dirt poor in the Boston neighbourhood of Dorchester. When Wahlberg was ten his father left home and he became a troublemaker. He dropped out of school and started experimenting with drugs, developing a full-on cocaine habit by the time he was 13.

His life of crime began with street fighting and stealing cars, quickly escalating to drug dealing and robbery. At 16, high on drugs, he was part of a gang that embarked on a robbery spree, which resulted in Wahlberg blinding a shopkeeper in one eye. He was sentenced to two years' imprisonment yet served a mere 45 days. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1238052/Mark-Wahlberg-I-left-mean-streets-Hollywood.html

So he was a high school dropout, already involved in drugs from a young age, came from a broken home, who knows what kind of views the people around him were instilling in him, its not like boston is known for its multicultural acceptance. Not to mention the time he attacked the vietnam man would have been the period of the Vietnam war and we all know how vietnamese were portrayed by american media during that time.

Now he was wrong and I think should have served more time, but that's the justice systems problem. I am just saying this is one of those cases where I can see a dorect correlation between all those other circumstances and his actions, however abhorrent.
