Pleasantly surprise to see FROMIS on the list! They deserve it, in my opinion. They have decent sales and rising momentum. OTR lacking on the comebacks, is basically standing in their way....

Also surprise to see LOVELYZ. I feel like I here more about KEI then anyone nowadays. I probably would of put (G) I-DLE

Isn't ITZY 4th gen, they are no.1 among new gen girl groups right now.

Agree with 2019 placement

 

Mamamoo sold more albums than Gfriend in 2019 and charted much better since 2017 so why did you put Gfriend above them? That’s odd.

This list was made from digital and physical data, Gidle sold half as many albums as Fromis9 and Lovelyz and also didn’t chart strong so they weren’t here. But I agree that from 6-10 the groups positions could change with other groups so I only said the top 5 are fixed in the title, the rest not so much

I see, so your placement was from physical sales only. I think digitals and public recognition are also important not just physicals, so for me Mamamoo has been above Gfriend for a few years.

I also think Gidle and Oh My Girl are above Lovelyz and Cosmic girls for similar reasons.

I didn’t say they don’t chart, it’s just not strong enough to overtake the gap left behind by their physical. And Lion was only 1 out of their 3 singles in 2019 and the rest didn’t do as well, so majority of their 2019 releases could still be considered not strong.
