Someone pulled a blackface on Kim Kardashian recently:

The practice is common in countries such Germany, Netherlands, Spain, South Africa, Japan and even during Halloween:

Snoop Dogg took a picture with a korean man with a blackface.

So what do hypocritical westerns who impose their ethnocentric views on other cultures have to say?

germany-three-wise-men-blackface.jpg

"Three Wise Men

Germany - Austria -- Children in Germany and Austria go door to door pretending to be the Wise Men celebrating the birth of Jesus. They sing and ask for donations for charity while wearing costumes. One child wears blackface because it is believed that one of the wise men was from Africa."

wow. I didn't even realize that in my country 'blackface' also exists.

In my country there's no such practice but on Christmas Eve in churches a reenactment of Jesus birth takes place.

It's always the children who are actors even though the script is written by adults (which are educated so they supposedly should know about blackface history but I haven't meet a countryman which knew about it. Just some of kpop fans knew about blackface...)

Now when I think about it there's possibility that sometimes a child wears blackface. (other times a black mask is used).

It symbolizes the fact that according to Jesus all people of different races are equal. To think that in other countries blackface has different offensive meaning...

When I was a kid I also participated in such performance. Thankfully I didn't get a role of Wise Man but an angel so I wasn't ordered to do blackface >.<
