According to the corporate briefing Bighit new girl group will debut in 2021

The girls have already been selected and practicing.

Plans to give more information in the next briefing

Once better milk this army-once alliance while they still can bc army will definitely be kicking twice to the curb when this group debit. Once will at least have somewhat of a grace period during their rookie year

tbh this  narratives are always changing...

not to long ago so many people in the kpop community were demanding for a bighit girl group. been begging for years.

now that it's becoming a reality, suddenly everyone is talking about "armys" and how they feel sorry for the new gg blah blah (fake concern)

OT: How easy some people forget how much support the Highlight Reel girls got from the fandom (hashtags,trends, and everything...)

No it's different. There's a history in Kpop when a girl group debuts under a company with a big boygroup and they interact with that boy group they get hate for it, because a bunch of jealous fan girls can't handle their oppars dating. It's not me projecting on any fandom.

Ive been in KPOP long enough to remember those moments. In some cases they are worse today but a lot of Big Hit fans really want a girl group from BH. 
 

Of course how I fans will receive them depends on their concept and music.

I mean, that's for sure. TxT was pretty hated at first for "leeching off BTS' name" and a lot of people were like "how can some people stan them without hearing their voices yet?" while the GG post is filled with "yay finally women" "we'll be stanning" comments when they haven't seen the group either. It's pretty hypocritical to me tbh.

Idk here but SOME armys on stan twitter definitely hated on TxT tho. I remember there was a lot of "I won't support them just for being from BH" "they're leeching off BTS' name" and stuff. But most armys warmed up to them eventually.

The difference with the gg and txt are definitely big. If you go to the GG post most people are celebrating and saying they'll be stanning but when TxT was announced there was a LOT of mixed reactions.

Funny how non-Armys would curse BH up and down for not having a girl group, claiming they hate women.
