I mean, that's for sure. TxT was pretty hated at first for "leeching off BTS' name" and a lot of people were like "how can some people stan them without hearing their voices yet?" while the GG post is filled with "yay finally women" "we'll be stanning" comments when they haven't seen the group either. It's pretty hypocritical to me tbh.

Idk here but SOME armys on stan twitter definitely hated on TxT tho. I remember there was a lot of "I won't support them just for being from BH" "they're leeching off BTS' name" and stuff. But most armys warmed up to them eventually.

The difference with the gg and txt are definitely big. If you go to the GG post most people are celebrating and saying they'll be stanning but when TxT was announced there was a LOT of mixed reactions.

I mean, some people definitely hated them. I remember a lot of the people in the fandom at first being like "I won't stan them just because they're big hit" or "now they're gonna be born with a golden spoon and not go through everything BTS had to go". Other people supported them obviously, but in general I remember TxT announcement wasn't as well received at first. In fact most armys were saying they prefered a girl group and that other bg would be "competition".
