Jimin Goes Viral and Captivates Western Media with his Grammy Stage

So because Taehyung is gorgeous and also in BTS it's baffling that Jimin is also incredibly popular??? I guess only the most widely accepted visual(s) of a group can be stan attractors now. (Btw Jimin is also gorgeous in his own right, just in a different way from say Tae or Jin.)

I know this is an appreciation thread but it seems to be giving a wrong impression to everyone.. Maybe if we keep it in our threads it won't be so misleading...

 

 

It was Namjoon, J-hope and Taehyung who trended after the grammy performance... Namjoon and J-hope esp. were trending high even in the US... Its likely after he got the shoutout from Paper Magazine and him posting a tweet with #Jimin that he started trending very high... The paper magazine clearly seem to be a fan and the same could be said about the other magazines.. I am not sure... Tae went viral on the red carpet and after the performance among the locals.. He had one article written about it and a shout out from Teen vogue for Taekook... 

 

 

 

 

 

Its unfortunate that there was no articles for Namjoon and J-hope [or at least I didn't see one] so its seems like they didn't trend at all... Its just seemed like the other members were overshadowed which wasn't the case...

all the members are handsome and of course talked about

however for whatever reason, jimin gets more attention sometimes

this isn't nothing new (e.g. he's the member with most recognition with the fashion world - which helps his popularity too) as you said "gorgeous in his own right, just in a different way"

Controversial opinion: Last year a Western media outlet wrote a beautiful article about Yoongi's talent. With in it also talked a bit about the other members. Typical stuff. However, when it came to Jimin, he was described as “being the one everyone wants to fuck.” That's it.  The article was dragged by fans and they eventually removed that line. There's more to Jimin then just his physical appearance. However this is sort of relevant to what I'm saying. The writer was being honest. It's what he observed in the industry. In many cases, Jimin is the member that's the most sexualized.  By the fans, the company and the public. Even before BTS were big in the West. In a way, it's a big part of his popularity too.

I feel since Blood Sweat and Tears era, his image has sky rocket. His "androgynous" image is able to attract so many different types of people.

This is sort of hard to explain...ok, so for me, I'm not "sexually" attracted to any of the members. Yes, I'm straight, but none of the members "physically" are my type. However I do find all of them visually appealing. They're hot, handsome, cute and etc. I like looking at photos of their fashion and watching fancams. So yes, their looks is one reason I stan too, honestly. And Jimin is my bias. The way he moves when dancing and his stage presence is visually attractive. I've always liked Kpop idols with natural charismatic eyes. Plus his lips is added bonus lol

When you're handsome but can't appeal general public, i'm sorry but you're nothing. For example Eunwoo is a very handsome man but aside from that, he doesn''t carry an aura on stage like Jimin does. Consequently, people tends to prefer sexy, charismatic men, especially the west.
