Current news is that San Marino is struggling to find an artist lol 2 artists came out saying they'd only represent San Marino if they got 300k euros for the costs (production, styling etc). Tbh I know Germany is terrible but the last two years were especially bad because each time the original chosen singer didn't get to actually go TT lol that's true, but they had horrible replacements. Their second choices were so awful that it made me wonder about the other entries. Black smoke was at least... iconic The Netherlands send back their JESC act, at least I know it won't be some country sounding song like last year. But I am praying their entry is not a boring ballad. Romania & Portugal (long time no see in the final) are returning. I see no hope for San Marino tbh Eurovision isn't really made for such small countries. I agree but their music hasn't been impressive either which is why I think they won't last that long. Maybe if they had a national selection instead of an Internal one things could improve for them. Valentina's songs were great. Lol the social media song threw me off but her other songs were better lol the video is the reason why they need a national selection Loreen again??? I'm SO up for that!!!! Yeah... national selection works fine for the first time, maybe the second, the third ain't cute, though. No news from Spain representative yet, but I think there's only 4 more days to vote the first round (online one) Considering San Marino's entries... they need a national selection lol. Need to see more contestants like Cesar. Russia last year was fun...in its own cheesy, weird way Let's hope Ukraine does. I enjoyed last year's contest, but we need more fun. Kylie Minogue would be good but she's too legendary and iconic to stoop down to the level of ESC. Well if brexit does happen (officially) it opens an opportunity for Scotland to join Eurovision in the future (if they can fund it)! I would love that tbh.But yeah I wonder if they'd drop out of the big 5. Australia is likely to send those artists who previously joined singing programs. The veronicas should, they used to be sooo popular a few years back. But then again so was Cascada but they ended up flopping. Got my fingers crossed though. The veronicas should try. And I think the songs gets more serious/more ballads since the entry of the jury votes. Jury votes dont vote that much to troll/funny entries, with some exceptions. I truly liked Cezar's entry. I really like the song. Rather than it being a joke (the staging I mean) it was original, unique and creative. The song wasn't bad its just the staging that threw people. I mean where else would you find an opera singer singing op dubstep?People are complaining about ballads and all songs sounding similar but barely anyone voted for him (he was 7th on the televotes not bad but I expected higher). 3 years later and its still one of the most unique entries. People are always complaining about Eurovision being about staging but even Cezar didn"t get so far. Europe would vote that Lasha Tumbai song 2nd but not Cezar lol how ironic. Where do I give Eurovision feedback that they need to change that. It creates TOO much suspense. I really don't like it. I prefer hearing the winner like after the 35th country's vote than having to wait for the televote winners to make an impact. But its part of their new system, we're stuck with this for years at least until they decided to change it again lmfao just like all their previous voting systems. Anyways, Germany is putting effort after being dead last two years in a row.
