We won and I love that everyone is pressed

I am going to repeat this the Dutch commentators said he had heart problems so heck maybe other commentators even said so. So you can't say it did not play a role... It most likely did if commentators were out there saying he had heart problems. Stop denying that it had no influence when it clearly did.
Nobody is bitter people just aren't happy with him and things he said. I don't like his song either so what makes me bitter for that?

lol He has a health problem, a heart problem. He couldn't rehearse and he did a lot of interviews where he was asked about his condition (prior to Eurovision) here in Portugal and he said that he does indeed have it but he's just gonna deal with it. Do you really think people voted out of pity? lol There were in many years many people with worse problems than him,

First of all did you see my post being pointed at you? I've seen too much bitterness over the comments (facebook, youtube),and no,I never said that because you don't like the song means you're bitter. Having an opinion and expressing it gently is one thing and hating because your faves didn't do well and attacking Salvador with violent insults such as retarted, making fun of him and his moves,is another thing. There is a thin red line between those two and many people have stepped on it. I didn't like Conchita's song but I didn't even offend her or talk bad for her. I just wish people would respect what the general public voted and not going out insulting him.

I'm not saying that him having health issues didn't help the voting, but you can't assume that every vote was about that. It may helped a 5-10%. I can't imagine people massively voting for him from many countries,in order to get 12 points just because he has health issues. My country,Greece, gave him 10 and we don't ever vote for Portugal and our commentators just told like 1 line that it's rumored he has health issues that's why his sister did his rehearsals and that's it.

You can't deny that people liked the song. I don't like Italy 2015 but I can't deny that the general public liked the song.

Lol I never denied him having a health problem, but whatever

If you are going to act stupid then thats your choice. There are plenty of people that would vote for him out of pity so dont act delusional. I am not even going further with this especially with idiots that choose to reply with gifs.

Continue to think people are pressed if that makes you feel better.

okay i was busy yesterday so i stayed away from internet untill i watched it.

my thoughts:

I know people in this thread have been watching the semi finals and been listening to the songs for a while, but i and most people choose to go into the grand final blind, as in not listen to any songs before hand or watch the semi finals.

so alot of people when they watch the eurovision its the first time hearing the songs, hence why people say song order is important.

when you hear all 26 songs at once, some songs despite being catchy little songs gets forgotten/ buried which what i think happned to belgium, belarus,

sweden and italy to an extent.

i know portugal will get marmite type results but it was the most memorable performance by far along with hungary and romania croatia. and i did personally love it.

i always like it when songs are sang in their own language. and i do feel like cerain songs while catchy as hell were a bit generic.

i didnt like france, germany, ukraine israels ,  azerbaijan songs. i didnt think spain deserved last but the song didnt fit/ felt forced.

i liked the top 5 this year. i think this was one of the best eurovisions in years.

didnt really notice russia being gone but i do hope they comeback along with israel.

That little man there cried because he though he disappointed his country. Now I want to hug him and tell him everything is okay, that he's done an amazing accomplishment (being the first Eurovision contestant born in the 2000s and landing a 2nd position in the Grand Final) and that he's made an army of fans willing to give him love.

Congrats to Portugal on their first Eurovision win. It was well deserved. He won Europe's hearts with his moving performance.

LMAO at him slagging off POP music in Eurovison OOOPS

I think they give the audience a lil too much power in the contest given their questionable taste. They got it right with Bulgaria and Portugal, but some of the other songs that got high audience votes were just shocking. Australia's stunning ballad received only two points, where as the Croatian mess received over one hundred points (WTF!?). Also, some of these songs get better after a few listens and don't deserve to be ruled out by the audience just cause they don't click with them on first listen. For eg Britain's song sounded very meh to me the first time I heard it on Graham Norton, but after hearing it two times more in the contest, it grew on me a bit.

The show and hosts left a lot to be desired, to put it nicely. They needed a fun element to the show like last year.

Skipping the whole Portugal issue since his fanbase have decided to plant themselves in the thread and have decided what real music is.

What do you guys feel about the votes being revealed?

I thought Hungary was decent but the juries did not like it as much.

Lost in Verona captured the televoters but not the juries, I didn't like the song as much until towards the end.

Also Bulgaria's votes were extremely high for their semi, it had me shook how big the gap was

omg at San Marino having 0 Jury point and 1 televote...  I think it's time for San Marino to drop out...

It raises more questions than it actually answers, I think. At times it feels like juries are the voices of reason, at times it feels like it's the opposite.

I think San Marino should stop sending the same person over and over again. Valentina, if that's her name, not sure, was treating the contest like her playground and really downgraded the whole performance. Shame for her partner.

it is as if she is the only person in the country who wants to enter.  I would like to know who the famous singers in San Marino are
