EDIT: I feel like I was misunderstood here? I do stan a lot of 3rd generation boy groups too but who's to say that 80% of the boy groups now won't also end up being perverts and criminals? I wish girl groups didn't break up so quickly because I want to see them around too... The rest of time is doing individual activities, business, or resting. I hope my favs are able to pursue whatever career track they want, as they get older too. It's wild that's considered a "grandpa" in kpop when in the west there's people still stanning rock bands in their 60s-70s. And you're talking as if some gg's weren't "grandmas" either.
