Ganbare Nippon! Celebrity supporters for Japan's Olympic Team announced

The Japanese Olympic committee has released a list of 17 celebrity supporters for the Japanese national team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Each supporter recorded a short cheering message that will be distributed through the official media channels of the Olympic committee and shown at the Olympic venues.

The participating celebrities include idol groups Momoiro Clover Z and Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, (former) idols Sashihara Rino and Shiraishi Mai, singer AI, ice skater Yuzuru Hanyu, actors Hirose Alice and Matsuoka Mayu and comedian Naomi Watanabe.
