Kobushi Factory disbanding

The Hello! Project idol group Kobushi Factory announced they are ending activity after their Tokyo Dome City performance on March 30th and the group will be breaking up.

The members have discussed about their future plans after graduating from school and wanting to choose a new path and pursue a different dream.

Group leader Hirose Ayaka had been in discussions with the agency about her graduation since early 2019, and after discussions with the group, the other members except Inoue Rei also expressed their desire to pursue a new path.

Inoue Rei will remain a part of H!P. Hirose Ayaka, Nomura Minami and Hamaura Ayano will continue to work in show business on their own. Wada Sakurako ill retire from show business.

Their final single will be released on March 4th.

Kobushi Factory was formed back on January 2, 2015.
