The news regarding Seong Seunghoon, f(x) Victoria & EXO Luhan to appear on Chinese Variety Show "The Cooking Star Show" turn out to be not true.

Kinda weird how sm is giving china line solo things to do after kris left, any i hope Victoria takes care of him coz luhan can't cook for shit lol but I will still eat anything he cooks:)

 

Idt it's "after Kris left", but the timing is now, happens after Kris left.

Abt the cooking show, they've invited Vic but they didn't say whether sm have accepted the invitation or not so don't get so excited yet

Looks like it's not SM but the chinese side who offered the project to Victoria and Luhan. And it's up to SM to decide accept it or not.

Or maybe it's part of SM's "package deal" in action. Maybe the china side offered it to Victoria first but SM demands another male idol to be casted alongside her.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think it's necessarily bços Kris left. Afterall, sm already said that they were going to focus on promoting in China for this year. Plus, most of sm's schedule has always been planned well-ahead and they're probably just releasing it bit by bit. Exo as a group has become very popular n now they're probably just starting to let the members get their well-deserved solo activities to further solidify their status as rising stars

It's not a question of SM "giving" them anything tbh - these offers have always been there for them, but for Luhan especially, this is the first time really since debut that he (and the other members) have had time to focus on individual projects, and thus we are seeing how in demand he actually is~

It says 'confirmed invited guests'. It doesn't mean SM has accepted the offer. I don't think anything is confirmed yet. 

 

Show concept: There will be 12 episodes with a total of 10 guests who compete against each other. They will cook as a team and the losing team will then compete individually. A guest is eliminated every few episodes until 3 guests have a final competition to determine the winner. The show is set to broadcast in August.

I freaking love cooking shows (food network is my mfcking channel) and having Luhan and Victoria on it would make everything 10x better.

and yeah I find it fishy too how Luhan, Lay, and Victoria now are all getting all these solo gigs that they never got before.

Perhaps I'm just reading too much into it, but I mean... Luhan's schedule is packed like a can of sardines.

I really wonder why SM was denying Kris opportunities when he didn't even have that much going on. mess... but Kris is getting it, so power to him too.

Also, I'm curious as to if Kris stuck with SM whether or not he would have these opportunities as well or if they would have shut him out because of his previous flight risk incidents. He might have bounced out anyway. 

 

Either way, looking forward to this show!
