SVT's Home peaked at #2 on MelOn though if I recall. Look peaked at #6. It's not like they're completely nugu boy groups. But in general the charts are easily fan manipulated so lol

Oh I don’t know really know how those groups perform but I saw a Sc of how digital points affected seventeen getting their music show win (didn’t look too deeply) but that didn’t seem too far fetched for me.

To be fair, if 10-20 songs on the melon top 100 are sajaegi at any one time, then anyone who can chart in the top 100 is a victim.

A lot of middling girl groups are affected - they can often chart in the top 20-30 on the melon daily but if they were meant to chart 5-10 spots higher that could have made all the difference in having their songs exposed to the GP. A lot of people check out the top 10 for new songs, even the top 20. So they may be losing out on exposure and more unique listeners and more longevity.

I don't get why Kpop fans are more interested in shading the victims. It just proves that nothing really matters to them except dragging fellow Kpop groups/fandoms to feel better about themselves.

Victims are victims, maybe they never had a chance for CAK or PAK or even no.1 but charting few spots higher would definitely make a difference to them (not to you or your favs) as more people would check their songs.

I see a lot of Kpop fans claiming that only digimons like IU or RV are affected because they are one spot away from a PAK, when in reality those kicked out of the top10-50 are losing even more, they just lost their opportunity to be in the public's radar.

The higher the artist is, the better ofc. But even 2 or 3 positions could be impactful at the end of the day... Because some stream only top 10, some stores have a playlist of top 20 songs etc etc... which means, for ex. if you are 21, you're automatically out and lost a more chance at exposure. Every position matters to some artists, not just paks, raks and caks....

Funny I haven't seen anything like that we know where GOT7 weakness is but we did have problems with Melon because the last two comebacks they had Melon always did have some type of malfunction, now I've seen tweets about that but not about SOTY.

I felt like I saw everyone complain about it except Ahgases but IDK. With the amount of tweets and jokes from all these different fandoms, if there were some I must have missed it
