Lots of cheap trendy clothes, or a handful of quality clothes?

Which do you prefer?  I want to transition to someone that has their whole wardrobe on one rack, but I can't seem to avoid those $20 and under sales from fast fashion stores (H&M, Uniqlo, F21, etc).   What's worse is that my discount fast fashion pieces last for YEARS so I never toss them.

Dress for the life you want to have imo

This is deep.  Its true tho because people will treat you differently by the way you dress/groom and that can create new experiences and opportunities.

Ever since I’ve started collecting designer clothing I will never go back. The fit is so much better and the pieces lasts a lot longer. I also feel a lot more confident wearing stuff that actually fits me nice. Watch out for the fabrics used though; sometimes expensive stuff will still be cheap af fabric. Also, there’s a reason fast fashion is so cheap... and it’s at the cost of those who make it. If you can afford not to go to those stores, I’d urge you not to.

what designers do you shop?

omg help, I got freaked out after searching synthetic fabrics vs natural fabrics (a lot of my clothes were polyester blend) and I just bought a whole new wardrobe this weekend smh.  Everything was on clearance so I only spent $75 but I'm scared because I just found out that American Apparel isn't even a thing anymore.  I thought they were still a quality store but turns out the went out of business and are now only online!  No wonder they were selling 100% cotton Tee's for $2 and Denim Jackets for $10:imstupid:

Oh well, I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything once the new year starts so if the quality sucks I'll just have to suffer thru 2020.
