Momoland is involved in another plagiarism controversy?

Ehhhh I dunno... it's hard to tell from just this, but the key and melody is different. BB was a whole other story. I think the fact that they're both EDM tracks and "thumbs up" and "times up" sound similar makes it seem like more of an issue than it actually is.

edit: spelling

Does it? They havent had another hit or even semi known song since Bboom Bboom though. Its the same as Crayon pop havent really survived the infinite amount of Bar Bar Bar copies.

Bboom Bboom was their peak era, show me another group who surpassed their peak and there won't be so many. But Baam was also a success for Momoland, it's not like it flopped, they're still doing good

Its sad that their first popular song was their peak era. And thats it. Their company couldnt capitalize on the newfound fame. Baam did well for a song from nugu group or middle tier roup not for group who just had superhit. Not even talking about Im so hot.

Most groups either way stay nugu or work their way up. Staying middle tier after haveng massive hit isnt really that great. Lets say Exid also never went much higher then with Up&Down. But they kept steady in their position while Momoland is disappearing slowly (even quite literally).

Many groups kept their newly find position for everal cb cycles after they skyrocketed with their first popular song. Ex. Apink, AoA, Girls Day, Exid, Sistar, Secret... Neither of them felt from top group position this fast.

For Momoland Thumbs up should be what Mr. Chu was for Apink, Heart Attack for AOA, Darling for Girls day... But honestly I would be surprised if the song had at least some impact. Outside of possible copying controversy.
