it's worse than i imagined...... i really hope some legal action takes place... there just has to be.....

and for Wendy, i hope this injury doesn't do any long-term damage, considering she'll be dancing a lot while she's still in the group (edit: sorry for jumping to worst-case scenario)

Those saying she should sue the hell out of SBS are naive. The lawsuit can lead to a beef between S.M. and SBS and S.M dares not to be blacklisted by a major broadcaster like SBS. This is how SBS is so careless to idols' safety, they know artist agencies won't dare to sue them.

That's really scary... her bones are probably fragile from all the dieting/weight loss too

I've fractured my pelvis too (minor car accident)... It took months to walk without crutches. And I was 14 and youthful so I recovered quicker than average.. What an awful injury to have as an idol.

That works both ways. SBS dares not be boycotted by the major music companies, or they have no show. They need to get their act together.

If I am an idol and my company does nothing then frankly I walk from said company and KPOP in general.

Doing nothing shows that neither SM nor SBS care a damm for her personal safety and concern.  Its not good enough to sit and do nothing.

Mnet survived with both YG and SM boycotted.

You want your fave retire from showbiz, huh? Have you not noticed music agency even rarely sue tabloid media of libel to not unnecessarily create an enemy?

Felt like crying when I heard this news. This is beyond horrible. Wendy didn't deserve this shit. I hope she heals and has no lasting effects to her daily life. I can't even imagine what pain she's going through right now.

Fuck you SBS.

Yeah, they do know and that's why something should be done. The broadcast stations have a history of reckless stages with no consequences. Something needs to be done before someone gets killed.

As if nobody had died. They have been shooting crews died or were permanently disabled directly or indirectly due to work before but, nothing has changed. Nothing will change.

That is horrible. What a shit show. Idols are constantly forced to perform in Korea in the most unsafe conditions and it needs to stop. Even more incentive for groups to try and grow out of all of these types of shows so they can be treated like humans elsewhere in the world.

Her injuries sound absolutely awful and I hope she is able to make a full recovery.
