Also most of my biases groups comebacks - Stray Kids releases tbh Day6's latest title track was so similar to other songs, their sound is getting quite repetitive now i miss songs like I wait and Falling Seventeen's Hit & Fear are not it for me Monsta X's Follow isn't my cup of tea either, but I love every single song from their english album so far so its cool Tbh this year the songs I've been listening to most are debuts and rookie groups Most of the established artists comebacks disappointed me Edited December 8, 2019 by blossoms 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I liked releases from nugu/rookie groups like ACE, Newkidd, ITZY, Everglow, TxT, AB6IX, CIX, Bvndit etc way more. Because I have higher expectations for GGs when it comes to catchy title tracks. I depend on them to deliver in that area when BGs don't necessarily always do... Even my underrated rookie favs...FUN is fun, it didn't satisfy me enough thou. Especially considering fromis company only let them comeback once -with only a 3 track single album. I'm used to GGs releasing catchy bops but this year surprisingly there was more catchy tracks from BGs than from GGs. Most GG releases were very underwhelming this year. The only gg songs I found catchy were Itzy songs, Mamamoo's Hip, Everglow's Adios and a couple more. It's been a bad year for idol groups in general and charts are a proof of that. I'd say G-Idle's comebacks weren't for me this year. I think a lot of girl groups weren't my fave this year...although APink's comeback is my top kpop song this year.
