The last time they filmed abroad was in 2015 for EXODUS. SM has a history of putting all its money into its newest girl/boy groups and giving the crumbs to their seniors through less and less comebacks and lower budgets for MVs. EXO's case is a bit special since despite SM's efforts to replace them, they still remain their no.1 cash cow for the last 7 years. Instead of focusing on properly promoting the groups they currently have, they give us group NO ONE asked for in a pathetic attempt to catch up to BTS.
