Base on the objective part of the criteria alone, it should probably go to BTS.

However most likely it will go Twice due to the help of the subjective part.

SOTY: 20% (Online Voting) 40% (Professional Panel - Local + Foreign) 30% (Music Sales) 10% (Record Sales)

So my vote is Twice.

It's already ridiculous how everyone is sure of Twice winning even though there are others more deserving this year. I mean Mnet can't give them SOTY forever just cause Japan is their territory and just because they have to win a daesang. It has to stop at some point otherwise Twice will keep winning undeservingly with that reasoning.

MAMA is rigged so there is no "deserving artist" when it comes to this award show.. sadly

I would like to see BTS or Chungha winning SOTY (since I'm sure MAMA won't give BTS all Daesangs like MMA did). But there is high possibility it would be Twice. Not only Twice is attending the show, but JYP himself, and MAMA is well-known for their 'subjective' factor. 

BTS should get Album of the Year, otherwise it would be a robbery. They got the best-selling Korean album EVER.

Idk what are the criteria for Artist of the Year, if there is a possibility for that award to become 'Hardworking Daesang' or not.

Twice since it is been like that last 2 years unless MAMA give them ArOTY over BTS so BTS get BWL SOTY or give SOTY to Itzy and Twice goes no daesang. ONCE be mad af. Forgot that itzy didn't gotten SOTY nomination so yeah nevermind. 

I think we knew who should have won even last year like should have been D4 or LS.

MAMA have to spread the award so children don't fight like GD said so I am not interested much. Only here for performance.

Realistically it should be BTS. But since MAMA will never let anyone clean sweep (even though they let BTS take 3/4 by making up a daesang last year LOL) then it should go to Chungha

I mean if its based on sales alone it should go to bts/chungha, but there is no way twice is not getting a daesang, so probably them.
