I believe it all depends  on the stage itself . Last year japan, the stage was at the center with no background and the camera had to zoom out to film the upper part and the result was a shitty camera work

Expect shitty camara work again, since it's MAMA.

As for your question: I don't think so. Last year, their MMA performance was the best one imo. But regardless of that, I'm sure they will deliver an amazing stage!

MMA stages have been getting better and better each year. As mentioned here, last year MMA was one of their best too

 

MAMA performance will be great, but it probably will not top MMA tbh

 

I'm praying for better lighting at least this year for MAMA tho

in what sense? this year MMA was for sure the most expensive and elaborate stage. ever. MAMA won't top it.

for my taste it was a bit too much theatrics though. when horses came adult in me was like "could have just piled money on stage instead". but MAMA can bring it with the set-list and dance breaks: there are many long-awaited b-sides they can perform and with dancing.. it's won't top the MMA's panache but it might be equally enjoyable.
