As the end of the year approaches, it is once again music award season in South Korea. The 2019 Melon Music Awards held at the Gocheok Skydome Dome in Seoul took the lead on Saturday. Among the singers and idol groups, Chinese netizens were stunned by the performance of top boy band BTS. 

"They are like gods when they are on stage. Teamwork makes dream work," one Sina Weibo user wrote in praise of the band.

No they didn’t. JTBC wanted MMA to be on streaming services. Possibly due to low ratings or some other reason.

These numbers are typical in China.

Sino Weibo have like 200 million users on a daily basis. (~500 million monthly.)

Just a bit of caution from some C-Army I follow. A lot of Chinese company doesn't regulate views like Youtube since it's good promotion and they barely pay any royalties. You can see a lot of promotional ads about tv shows reaching billions of views.

That said, it still means that A LOT of C-Army and GP have watched and enjoyed the show!
